Today was day one of the tournament, as Canada opened up the tournament with a victory against Slovakia 7-3. Though I watched most of the game, I was impressed by our offence, but our defence is questionable, and we need to stay away from the penelty box.

Probably one of my favourite goals ever, was Craig Janny's first ever NHL goal (somehow I remember this). The puck went off his face (around his eye), and into the net "If he ever scored 50, I hate to see what he looks like," Tom Johnson on that goal.

The thing is though, look who Canada had to play against in the round robin? Most of those games is almost like shinny out there, thats the only reason I was worried, maybe they were too relaxed, and it showed against Slovakia I found. Maybe its just that Sweden or Finland did not have the talent they usually have. Brush: My cousin is playing for Team Ontario. Nathan Martine of the Barrie Colts, and I haven't checked on the stats today, I know he has 1 goal 1 assist in the tournament, which is good for a D-Man.
