HD + Masters = The most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Bullshit. Toronto had media hype from 98-2004. Especially the two years they were at the Conference Finals, and its still like that on any show. Why isn't JFJ getting fired yet, should Sundin be traded? Who should they get rid of next? Maybe it is more negative side of the Leaf coverage, but they are still getting coverage. Besides Montreal wasn't the most covered team in the NHL this year in terms of analysists. The demise of the Ottawa Senators took a lot of talk from January to now, and at the beginning of the season, they were considered to be the greatest team ever assembled. You can't help to say that Kovalev was the catalyst of the Habs success. (1st in the PP, lead the team in scoring, helped Plekanec, Kostitsyns) but there were other factors. Carey Price emerging as a superstar, Andrei Markov having a Norris-like season. A huge improvement on the 5-5 with the addition of Roman Hamilrik. Mark Streit plays well both on offence and defence, and Mike Komisarek is playing like a beast this season. The Habs have one of the best balanced offence in the league. Rant over, Dallas is running circles around Anaheim. This can be a very quick series.

New player Andrew Simon recorded seven tackles, while Steven Simon recorded his first career INT.
-
Look for Komisarek to be back on the ice as well tomorrow night. Joe Sakic passed Maurice Richard for most OT Goals in the playoffs with eight. Actually that whole overtime frame between Colorado and Minnesota was awesome.
-
Couples seems to do well at Augusta. I hope my boy Luke Donald wins the Green Jacket.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=135999 May I present you, Andrew Simon. A second Corner Back.
-
Dear god. I'm staying away from Absinthe...that stuff fucks you up.

So does anyone dig the new ESPN TSN website? It blows. Blows badly. And they should get rid of that grey they are using.
-
This is Mike Keenan's first post season series since 1996 with the Blues.

A band that uses an organ to its potential is Deep Purple.
-
No, I agree that Lunqvist should win the Vezina by all accounts. He was the best goalie this year and the stats prove it.
-
Thats if Joe Thorton actually plays. I don't think he's played a playoff game yet in his career.
-
Nice. I don't think Woods will win Augusta this year. I'm going to say Goosen is the winner of the Green Jacket.
-
No, he would wind up in the minors for three years while Pavel Kubina eats up more ice time.

TSN is really wants a San Jose/Pittsburgh final. Frankly, I don't see San Jose going past round two.
-
Ya, the Kings need Steven Stamkos. Tampa doesn't.
-
If Tampa wins the number 1 seed for the draft, and draft Steven Stamkos I'm going to laugh. Tampa doesn't need a forward (well they do) but passing up Drew Doughty and Alex Pieterlangelo makes me wonder what the management at TB are doing.

I'm betting on that your friend is a sucker for some European Thrash Band that sounds like Metallica.
-
Anyone else here that George Gillet wants an outdoor game in Montreal before the All-Star weekend? I'd say do it. 100 Years of Hockey Tradition in the greatest hockey city.
-
First coach to have three straight 50 win seasons and with an injury depleted team at times. I know there are other candidates (Wlson, Therrien not Quennville) but I believe that those three that I listed earlier will get nominated.

Was this a gift/free or is it going to be used for kindling?
-
I'm saying its Chaz or Thrasher.
-
A lot of the shows are done like that. Best Friends Forever wasn't finished until the morning of the show being aired and wasn't even scripted until the weekend.
-
We could, but Brodeur and Lunqvist are most likely the finalists as well. Shame really because I was hoping Pascal Leclaire to win it. I'm not going to deny how important Nicklas Lindstrom is to the Wings. Just look at it when he was injured. They were the Dead Wings out there masked with talent. He could have won the Hart as well, but you can't deny what Alexander the Great did this past season.
-
Ovechkin officially wins the Art Ross and Maurice Richard Trophy. Dominik Hasek and Chris Osgood wins the William M. Jennings trophy. Can we say that Alex-O is the guaranteed winner of the Hart? Lindstrom the Norris? The only ones that are close are the Jack Adams award (Babcock, Carbonneau and Bourdreau are most likely the nominees.) and the Calder Trophy (Toews, Kane and Backstrom)
