Wrestling shirts would be less embarassing to wear if they didn't have stuff on the back. I really like my ECW Shirt, but the giant cracked skull and "Breaking more than just the rules" on the back just makes it hard to wear in public.

I think the WWF just changed it to be safe like they did with Tazz.

What's the film about and are you planning on submitting it to any festivals?

First of all, the game is going to have 70+ wrestlers and authentic arenas. Some of those arenas announced so far are Madison Square Garden, Skydome and Boston Gardens. The commentary is now a three man commentary with Bobby Heenan, Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbysko. Some of the match types include Table, First Blood, Ladder, Steel Cage, Battle Royal, Iron Man, Hardcore, 6 and 8 Man Tag, Elimination, Handicap, and 3 and 4 Way Dances. Oh yeah and Bret Hart is going to have a wrestling tutorial mode. This is the roster so far. This is just the officially announced wrestlers, theres still more to come like the wrestlers seen on some of the screenshots. The game is coming to XBOX and PS2 only and so far is looking pretty good. They have ditched the whole "LJN action figure" look of the wrestlers as seen in the first two games and the gameplay has this thing called "Ready to Brawl" controls. Here's some fresh screenshots from IGN.

These are the big 5 movies I can think of at the moment. Clerks. Enter The Dragon. Full Metal Jacket. Lord Of The Rings: The Return of The King. Orgazmo.

Hit the D-Pad at the position where your wrestler usually does the finisher when its flashing.

Are the characters, colours and names of the games slightly changed? I think that's why they got around all the legal troubles and could be available in malls and on shopping channels.

If Impact! were to air in Canada, it would most likely air on Roger's Sportsnet who airs some of FSN's baseball games and shows when they need to fill a time slot.

I just beat Shenmue II last week. And I did it in less than three weeks. Now I just hafto wait for an announcement of whether there will be a Shenmue III or not.

Well there is this Chiba movie where he rips a guy's testicles off and feeds it to a dog. I forgot what it was called though.

If there is no NHL season next year, it would be pretty lame to have a Live Enabled NHL 2005 where you couldn't go online.

Has anyone seen those Q-Ray commercials? What exactly is it? It's on every few minutes on the Food Network and is just two minutes of people talking about how it has changed their lives and the how you can order. It's one of the oddest commercials I have seen in a while.

I just saw the trailer and I just don't know if casting minorities in a drug movie is supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing.

It depends if the tray is a lightbulb shape, has dots or is just round.

You should call them up. My XBOX had this problem with the video, so I called them and they sent Purolator to pick it up from my home. A few weeks later, Purolator sent it back to me.

This is just awesome news, I hope they have some extras too.

I just played the game and it's pretty fun so far. The graphics are ugly at times, but since they made New York so huge and I could move from place to place without no lag, I can't complain. Its pretty funny how they called Madison Square Garden "Metropolitan Arena".

Did anyone think in the movie when Peter couldn't shoot web out that it was a perfect time to introduce synthetic webbing?
-
I'm in the minority here, I was kinda let down by Spidey 2. JJJ, Spidey's webslinging and the Stan Lee cameo were great but what really bothered me was everyone knowing Spider-Man's identity. Harry knows, Doc Ock knows, Mary Jane knows, even a whole train knows. That's what really annoyed me about the film.

I was really looking forward to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon but when I watched it, it just bored me to tears. The first Spider-Man was great the first time, but when I watched it on DVD, it wasn't as great. Dogma was eh, I think there was too much hype and controversy around it that made it seem like it was going to be great.

I rented the game yesterday and well, it's just bad. Theres really no point in doing grapples or moves when all you hafto do is constantly punch to fill up your Momentum metre and drain your opponent's health. Finishers are pretty easy to do and some wrestlers even have Secondary finishers. For example, Macho Man has the Flying Elbow Drop as one finisher, the tombstone piledriver as another. The Showdown challenge is just 5 matches in each era (With a pretty cool video clip in each) and then finally Hulk Hogan (Who also has his own video clip). There are storylines such as challenges and an opponent hitting on your girlfriend which is presented in a magazine style format throughout. It's cool but nothing too exciting. After you beat the Hulkster, all you are rewarded with is a variation of a loading time picture with your wrestler and "Showdown Champion" on it. The Classic matches are a handful of matches that you play starting in the middle or key moment of that match. You keep finishing each classic match until you unlock more Classic matches which ends in the big Classic match with Hulk Hogan VS Andre The Giant. What I found really funny was they have Ultimate Warrior VS Hulk Hogan as one of the classic matches, but it looks like they based it on their horrible Halloween Havoc rematch as you hafto control Hulk for the win. Or, it could be just rewriting of history. The game does have its bugs that almost everyone is complaining about. Wrestlers would just melt through ropes or tables, weapons would look like they are sinking in the mats, and wrestlers would teleport for no reason in some cases. The commentary is cool with its little anecdotes and such, but they would get excited over the least of things and some of the calls would be a little late, but I'd expect that from any game with commentary. If you absolutely must play this game, then rent it with a caution. I give this game a 2/5.

I love how these Mcfarlane figures pay attention to every little detail. They don't even have Real Scan and it looks so real.
-
Don't forget, he lifted the 900 pound Andre the Giant over his head and bodyslammed him.

Gamespot sounds like they are pretty accurate with a 6.5, I don't really trust IGN's reviews, they did give Raw 1 and 2 both 9s. By the way, the Showdown website has just updated with a Hulk Hogan Spotlight. They make sure he has the longest bio, the most pictures and a video clip too.
