Some DVDs, especially the bargain bin titles by those really cheap companies, put in big letters "Digitally Remastered" at the bottom. And of course, if it's by those cheap companies, the transfer looks like an extremely worn out VHS tape at best. When they use the phrase "Digitally Remastered" is it false advertising or is there some legal loophole? Like "Remastering" is considered to be something that is transferred from a Computer or something.

It was good to see Flay finally lose. It was also good to see Ming Tsai on TV, the Canadian food network hasn't shown East Meets West in a while. I guess with Martin Yan, they had to push that show aside.

Yeah, it's pretty sad how LOW2 is the best wrestling game on XBOX by default. But then again, look at the other choices: Raw 1/2, LOW1, Showdown and Backyard 1/2.

I'd like some of the more rare items in that collection, but the whole thing would be too much for me.

Sega really should do a Hockey Night in Canada game now, they just gotta.

Well the XBOX has had a pretty bad showing for wrestling games. There was Legends of Wrestling I, II & Showdown, WWE Raw 1 & 2, and then the Backyard Games if you consider those wrestling. Even if the guys behind Wrestlemania 21 made Tao Feng, it's really hard to outsuck Raw 2 or Showdown so I think this might finally be the definitive wrestling game for the XBOX.

Some people might say that the first falls under propganda.

I went to Wal-Mart today and noticed they got a bin of DVDs in cardboard sleeves on sale for $1.37 (Canadian). I don't expect good picture and sound from them even if they say "Digitally Remastered" but has anyone found any good obscure movies from this lot?

Speaking of Power Rangers and DVDs, they really gotta get around to releasing the first seasons onto DVD.

With the exception of those hockey figures that only had the NHLPA license, Mcfarlane has never made anything short of awesome.

Doesn't it sometimes depend on how close you are to another player? I get voices through the TV or headset depending on that.

My gamertag: Thuganomics. My weapon of choice: Rocket Launcher.

I got my copy of the Limited Edition on my lunch break, played a litte multiplayer, it's amazing so far. Only thing that bothers me though is inside the awesome tin case, they stack the game disc on top of the bonus disc.

MTV2 is becoming a basic cable channel
Karnage replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in Television & Film
Much is totally trying to be like MTV now. MuchOnDemand is basically a low budget TRL, Spotlights are only on people like Avril and 50 Cent nowadays and they keep showing all these Hot Or Not or Fandemonium specials. -

Although there are more superior versions now available of those two titles, it sucks that the Criterions have features the others don't.

Seeing Avril on that list just ruins it.

Jackie Chan. I actually sat through The Medallion and one of his Lo Wei movies.

I just finished readind Lloyd Kaufman's book "Make Your Own Damn Movie", and now am really interested in seeing some Troma films. I've ordered The Toxic Avenger, are there any other films I could watch to start?
-
The book "Make Your Own Damn Movie" is fairly new, it says 2003 somewhere on the back. I stumbled upon it after looking for some books on moviemaking. It's an awesome read by the way.

Iron Chef USA did that.

Morimoto shouldn't hafto change anything. They should get judges that actually know about food (I hated that Sopranos guy) or stop trying to get revenge for Pearl Harbor this time around.
