There's already a thread about this. Less laughable is the fact that he was about three inches from being paralyzed, and the fact that one person was killed and five wounded in this attack.

Apparently, he was shot from 40 yards. If it's considered a "serious injury" from that far away, one has to speculate he was shot with a high caliber rifle. That's... not good, could have done some serious soft tissue damage.
