What have you given up for sports?

This is very, very true. I experienced this during the NFL playoffs this year, and it's definitely the best half hour I've ever had.

    The OAO XNet News Thread!

Speaking from a roleplaying fed owner's perspective, I can say with complete confidence that you didn't get the best show because it was your first week. They're not used to your style yet. Also, make sure you have more segments in the middle of your shows. The best shows tend to have a lot of segments.

Official 2005 TSM NFL Mock Draft

I was thinking about Crowder, and in a perfect world, I'd have chosen him instead of re-signing Larry Foote to an idiot contract.

Official 2005 TSM NFL Mock Draft

With the 30th pick in the draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Brandon Browner, CB, Oregon State.

    X-Net Icon

Yeah, the best way to win these is to be original and funny. These people that you guys have listed are utterly horrible, so I doubt any of you will have trouble shitcanning them. And I say that based on nothing.

Wow, these guys are horrible. Ya'll should murder them.

Official 2005 TSM NFL Mock Draft

Hey, if I come up and I'm not here, send me a message at pr0p43t1c1n3 over AIM. I've got the flu and I'll probably be laying down, so if you don't send it, prepare to wait twelve hours with no pick.

    THESWF.COM

I didn't bash X-Net, stupid. I said it was an interesting idea, and added that my fed is in it. However, "E-fed top 100!!!" sites are the e-fed equivilant of fishing in a pond full of radioactive waste. Nobody goes to those sites other than a small, terrible few, and they're usually rigged anyways so that friends of the owner's feds get the most "clicks" and get on the top of the list. Don't get snappy with me, kid.

    TSM: NFL 2005 Mock Draft

I don't know enough about college football to go four, so I'll go two.

    THESWF.COM

Top 100 e-fed listing places are terrible for recruiting... just FYI.

    Looking for new computer

You can build a really sexy computer for just over $1,400

A Piece on the Rise of the Internet

Proof? Anywhere? ...do you just prefer to use baseless conjecture, or are you going to like, show me where this happened?

A Piece on the Rise of the Internet

This is a horrifically stupid argument. MoveOn had little to do with Dean's rise to power within the DNC. Dean rose, quite simply, because state DNC members were intrigued by his promises to revamp state and local politics, whereas no other candidate even had a remotely good plan about how to do that.

A Piece on the Rise of the Internet

Howard Dean is running the Democratic party right now. MoveOn.org is one of many PACs that have significant pull in the party, just like the Club For Growth and many other conservative PACs have quite a bit of pull in the Republican party. Blowing this type of thing out of proportion is expected of Mike, however.

    Looking for new computer

If you, or anyone you know, knows how to build computers, I'd reccomend you do that. The cost-benefit of building your own computer is extraordinary.

Canada says no to missle defense scheme

I don't know if it was brought up in this thread yet, because I didn't bother reading past the first page, but terrorists aren't going to fire ICBMs. Therefore, the argument that the missile defense system will help protect us from terrorism is stupid at best.

    The NFL Offseason/Pre-Draft Thread

You've got those mixed up. Corners run between 4.3 and 4.5, whereas running backs usually run about 4.5-4.6.

Creative offers the software on their website now.

    The NFL Offseason/Pre-Draft Thread

Steelers cut Charred Scott and Jay Riemersma, freeing up some cap room. Probably not enough to make any sort of offer for Plax, but still some cap room.

    American's Slipping In Education

I think his point was more that our test results are skewed downward since our test results are being reported for all students, not just college bound kids. Calm down.

    American's Slipping In Education

That's a pretty stupid response. So, the "popular culture" is the reason why our schools suck? OH EM GEE! YOU MEAN NERDS = NOT COOL?!!? GET THE FUCK OUT OF TOWN! The "market" has no interest in doing anything but satisfying those who buy their products. In fact, the "market" has an interest in actually getting these kids educated, not vice versa. That post just proves how little you actually understand the "market".

    Thinking about buying an iPod

I have a 30gb Creative Zen Xtra and I've been exceedingly pleased with it. Cheaper than an IPod and more storage.

The SWF is in your hands now.

They don't actually participate, but it's sort of funny that both are in it. OMG COMPETITION!?! Not really.
