I'm very happy that the Pats beat the Jets this week; I can't see them losing two in a row under Belicheck. Let the Steelers-Patriots hype begin.

Bush campaign "apprehensive"
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Not really. But think what you want; you were going to do that anyways. -
Miami Dolphins Remaining Schedule
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Sports
Miami already got beat by the Ben Roethlisberger machine, so I'm not concerned about that. The curse I levied upon them was one where they are doomed to go 8-8 and get only the 20th pick in the draft. -
Poll shows solidly Dem state leaning to Bush

Something tells me the sampling for this poll wasn't exactly close to that -
(Insert incredibly easy Purple Heart joke here) How many times have you been wounded in combat? More than Kerry, most likely. -=Mike that's a pretty big bet to put up. How many times have you been wounded in combat? or at all More often than Kerry. -=Mike Bullshit Did something stop you from going to the army? Just curious He'll tell that it's none of your business, and he'll be right. Of course, when you make a bold claim like he has, you'd think he'd back it up, but he won't divulge any information. I broke my arm when I was a wee lad. That, alone, means I've suffered more wounds than FrankenKerry has. -=Mike Just posting to add one more level of ridiculous quotation. I see.

The Countdown to Beltran with Yankees Topic
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Sports
Well, obviously, nothing is the solution! You've decried the necessity of "team chemistry" almost nonstop for the last three years. Read between the lines. -
Yeah, ask your ex-girlfriend. A MikeSC: CUTE, TYLER. THAT WAS MATURE. I BET YOU HAVE THE IQ THE LEVEL OF A PRISONER'S ASS IN THE GULAG WINTER.

University of Pittsburgh: ON THE ROAD TO THE FIESTA BOWL, BABY. If we beat West Virginny, we're in. Probably. -
The Countdown to Beltran with Yankees Topic
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Sports
No one's saying they can't trade/buy players. However, the fact that they've completely exhausted their farm system by trading for chokers kinda suggests that it isn't exactly the answer to the problem. I'm not exactly supporting the Red Sox or Cardinals' business model, either. But neither one has been as big a mover in the market as the Yankees. -
...I'm bad at rage? That's a relief, considering I, uh, wouldn't even get remotely mad at some tool who has 9976 posts on a wrestling message board.

The Countdown to Beltran with Yankees Topic
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Sports
Regardless, three straight years, they've thrown money at it and, subsequently, gotten nothing in return. They can't even get people in trades anymore because their farm system is so fucking dismal. You know, if they want to get Beltran and Pedro and whomever else, fine. But seriously, you'd think they would learn by now to build up their farm system and try to grow at least a few of their own players. -

Yes, because we've seen how well throwing money at the problem has worked for the Yankees thusfar. -
Electoral Vote Predictor 2004.

THE DNC WILL NOT WIN TURNOUT AND IF THEY DO, THEY CHEATED -
...rage?! Wow.

I agree! Since it's something bad happening to Bush, it must be because of Kerry. And therefore, he should automatically lose the election.
-
Actually, I wasn't joking. You probably have. And I don't even know who Randy Orton is, so your clever wrestling (I suppose) reference bears no teeth.
-
It doesn't. You're making jokes about someone who was wounded in combat, and you've probably lived in your parents' house your entire life. Pick another issue.
-
Kerry must be at fault.

Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to teke184's topic in Current Events
You guys really are making it sound like it's some huge deal that the DNC is spending minimal -- instead of no -- resources in Hawaii. It's really not. You're making mountains out of molehills.
