No, the day he stopped, y'know, supporting the party's platform was the day he stopped being a Democrat. I hate to say it, but just because you call yourself something doesn't make it true; you actually have to, y'know, BE one, too. He votes with his party ~12% of the time. He's not a Democrat.

Zell Miller isn't a democrat. I'm sorry, but he's not. He's not a moderate, he's a conservative. I have no problems with moderates like Breaux, but Zell Miller isn't a democrat.

Tripod is sponsoring Mike for president!!!!! -
If he became a Democrat, he's obviously a sellout. Most of them are. People in the position to influence other's opinions should unquestionaly support the president. That much is a fact. The Rock has gained more widespread appeal, so he's a sellout if he now supports the Democrats.

Well, KJ Brackish got banned just now

We should ban KJ Brackish every day. Like Promethius having his liver eaten by an eagle. -

Congratulations, you're five posts too late -
I might reluctantly vote for John Kerry in November because: 1) War on Terrorism/Homeland Security John Kerry has pledged to provide full funding for first-response units (i.e. local police and firefighters), which is something that the current administration has been lacking in. Kerry/Edwards also has some good ideas about extending our border and transportation security. From the website: These issues are important, considering the stories we've had of people sneaking contraband aboard planes to show that they can do it; I, for one, can assure you that airport security is still lax, and it's well documented how pathetic our security is around nuclear plants and other high-risk targets. I am very confident that a Kerry administration would tighten those reigns. 2) A commitment to fiscal responsibility We have a very real problem in the deficit that will, eventually, start to bog down and stagnate our economy. Being that I'm about to enter the work force for good, this is a particularly important issue for me; President Bush has given nothing but empty rhetoric about balancing the budget and has consistently given us record deficits. Kerry, on the other hand, provides a plan to accomplish these goals: 3) A commitment to finding alternative forms of energy President Bush has shown that he has little -- if any -- interest in exploring alternative energy solutions. I firmly believe that one of the keys to a stable relationship with our neighbors is energy independence. We would no longer bankroll the Saudi monarchy, nor would we have to worry about environmental destruction caused by drilling in ANWR or other domestic oil reserves. I may be in the minority here, but I don't want to live in a country whose environment is completely scarred by our industry. I believe that the quality of life is, in part, determined by your surroundings and environment. If we live in a disgusting, dirty country, the quality of life will be infinitely worse than if we live in one whose natural beauty is able to shine through. Those are my current top 3 reasons why I'm leaning towards Kerry.

They don't matter. Dre is more important. Where goes Outkast, also goes the election.
-
Dre was also at the DNC. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/07/27/dems.dayscene.ap/ http://www.wboc.com/Global/story.asp?S=2135191

Judging by how much of a liberal Big Boi is, I doubt Dre is a Republican. Could be wrong, but I doubt it.
-
Aw, isn't that cute. You guys have celebrities, too. Savor it, Republicans!!!!!!!!

I don't understand how their methodology would calculate such a low number when the Sudan conflict alone--which is, in effect, a civil war--cost 30,000 people their lives. I don't see how you make the Bush justification here, though. For all that everyone blames Bush for everything (or whatever you want to claim), I don't think anyone really faults him for all of the world's wars. Thus, the number of wars declining is also due in no part to Bush's glorious achievements.

In NCAA 2005, I started off by building my Pitt Panthers' defense and working with what I had on offense. It was tough (lots of 7-0 games) but I eventually worked up my team's prestige to the point where I was actually getting some blue chip recruits. Of course, that game is a lot different than others; you HAVE to be good to get the good players. So, in the end, what it comes down to is skill in the game. I quit as Pitt and went to Miami (Ohio) to have a challenge, and I just had to beat some good teams to bring up my prestige to a level where people who want more than a prestigous coach would sign on to me. Took a few years, but I'm there now (up to **** prestige with Miami and won the Nat'l Championship last year). All in all, I rank the following priorities: 1) D-Line 2) Secondary 3) Running Quarterback (helps SO much when you have no o-line) 4) Star RB 5) O-Line 6) LBs 7) WRs (only really need one)

"The Political Machine"
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
I actually bought it after finding out that the company isn't exactly a massive conglomerate. -
Steelers suffered a major blow today when they learned RG Kendall Simmons went down with a torn ACL and is done for the year. This one hurts. A lot. The O-Line was starting to gel for the first time in over 2 years, and one stroke of bad luck sends them scrambling. Keydrick Vincent is the backup and has a lot of potential, but virtually no experience. Meaning, we really don't have a clue what he can do. Ugh!

I dunno. Maybe it'll come back once college starts back up again. I do remember some late night romps; perhaps they simply have to get started earlier to catch on and keep people up! -
