Amusingly, I have a co-worker who goes to V-Tech and attends a lot of the same parties as Vick. She says he basically comes in and acts all high and mighty, and pretty much nobody outside of his groupies (which are, surprisingly, not overwhelming) likes him. He got a $1 million check for his birthday from his brother, though. This shit just shows how hype can ruin a kid.

Yes, I'm agreeing with his assertion that the job growth was pathetically weak this month.

He called you on it. You tried to reframe the argument and ignore what you originally said. -
Don't worry. When the tax cuts, uh, come into... The economy is good. Don't question it.

Not only is it a "DUMB" ad, it's also a "FALSE" one. Get the sand out of your vagina. I was agreeing with you.

I admitted I'm wrong. Not like you've ever "apologized" when wrong, so don't expect it from me. -
I know. I'm just pointing out that not even the vets say it's true at this point.

Speaking of which.

Shave. You get used to it (it being the occasional blood stream) after awhile.

Yeah, because saying "LOL I BET LIBERALS WOULD VOTE FOR OBL" is REALLY raising the level of discourse. I stand by my assessment that you're as big a moron as INXS when it comes to American politics. -

The NCAA Football 2005 Dynasty Thread

Okay, so after playing three years on all american at Pitt and being pretty damned successful (my last recruiting class was outstanding, and it made for a year where I ended the season ranked #1 but lost a heartbreaker to LSU in the national championship), I didn't accept a contract extension and instead decided to pursue other opportunities. Being that I had ****** coach prestige, I went to a ** program (Miami of Ohio) and decided to try my luck. Happily, coach prestige alone wooed some solid recruits (including a **** athelete who translated into a 79 QB... which was far better than anyone I had on my roster). So, I'm already starting to turn it around for Miami of Ohio after beating #20 Texas A&M when I realized that my frosh QB is an absolute star. -
Did Rev. Moon Help N. Korea's Nuclear Program?

http://www.gorenfeld.net/blog/2004/08/rev-...o-kim-jong.html A blog, yes, but it provides primary sources (DIA intelligence briefs) and analyzes the information more adeptly than I could at this point. Allegedly, Rev. Moon bankrolled Kim Jong-Il's efforts to obtain old Soviet subs that could fire nukes into California. If this is true, it's deeply disturbing; Rev. Moon, as we all know, owns the Washington Times and other media outlets around the world. It smells slightly like a conspiracy theory, but the primary documents are compelling and worth a look. Thoughts? -

...and this is why I'm not exactly a Kerry "supporter". Shit, MY idea there -- the idea I THOUGHT he had -- was better than that. -
I'd need a source to believe that.

HAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... You have to hate republicans here? Could've fooled me

According to that article, he missed practice and that prompted this. Harsh, but that's Bill.

Jesus, Mikey has quite the sandy vagina in this thread. The suspicion of these terror warnings being raised at opportune times for the administration (i.e. right after the convention, during the Abu Graib scandal, etc.) has been evident over the last year or so; it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Bush could be playing his trump card whenever something would be sending him spiralling in the polls. However, when the threat level is actually raised (i.e. this time), it probably is less politically motivated than usual. Remember, we've had such retarded terror warnings as "look out for people wearing coats in the summer!" and "look out for people who smell bad, they could be carrying chemical weapons!" on the eve of a precipitous fall in Bush's approval ratings. Those are probably more politically motivated than this, in which there is apparently more concrete information.

Ben Roth signed today and arrived at camp only a little bit late. Good.

Actually, I'm probably not going to. Unless Virginia is actually going to be a battleground state (which it probably won't be), I'll be casting my vote for David Cobb (Green Party Candidate). Not because I agree more with him (I truthfully haven't even bothered looking up his positions) but because I can't stand voting for Kerry.
