Bush promotes measure against gay marriage
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Current Events
Just FYI: the vote was for cloiture, not an up-or-down vote for the amendment. In effect, there is a filibuster against the amendment even being voted on, and there wasn't even a majority that voted to end it. It's not even gonna pass the Senate, guys; this is a moot topic. -
Ditka Considering Senate Run

God, I'm glad I'm learning at an accelerated pace. This shit would bankrupt me otherwise. -
Ditka Considering Senate Run
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
You mean electing a person who was continuously derided by the national media but actually did a good job I lived in Minnesota under Ventura and I thought he did a bang-up job. Wish I had a unit of currency for everytime I had to defend him to outsiders while I actually lived there I've actually heard quite the opposite from people who have lived in Minnesota, but to each his own. -

Drudge must be getting really desperate
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Relax. I'm just fucking with you. I couldn't care less if Drudge is gay; he's just a careless journalist to me. -
You can't possibly believe they didn't turn a profit when they had 0 salaries on their roster, do you?

Mike just doesn't want one of his journalistic heroes ruined for him by being a dirty gay. Sorry, chap. -
Drudge must be getting really desperate
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Well, Drudge certainly never denied it. I read the book in which he outed Drudge, and he said that Drudge asked him out on a date and sent lewd photographs to his house. -

The person who outed Drudge was David Brock. -
Ex-Enron CEO is indicted
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Current Events
Whoa, I sparked an argument with a simple post of a link. I'm like, the ultimate troll. (JUST KIDDING, GUYS. IT WAS RELATED TO THE TOPIC COMPLETELY AND I WASN'T ACTUALLY INTENDING TO TROLL. DON'T BAN ME! ) -
WWE going after E-feds?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, that amused me. There were a few things we did back in the day that seemed fishy. -
WWE going after E-feds?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
If it's a roleplay fed, and you can create your own characters, I'd be more than happy to ruin some shit in a WWE e-fed. I've always laughed at morons who use like, HHH as their picbases, and I find it not-so-ironic that they're now getting pissed on. Good ol' WWE... now I remember why I stopped watching years ago. -

Anyone up for Fantasy Football?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to LaParkaMarka's topic in Fantasy Sports
We should keep this league to the people who played last year and actually do a, y'know, keeper league. -
Blair - Weapons of mass distruction not found.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America replied to Vanhalen's topic in Current Events
Since I've discussed this with him a few times, I'll paraphrase what he's likely to say: "This 'leaky Sarin shell' that was found in the desert was a shell from a program that no one knew Saddam had. It was a binary shell that mixed the components in the air, and thus, it would be just as dangerous as it was ten years ago if it was fired properly. The scary part is that since we didn't know he had these in the first place, we don't know if he had more. And it's not likely that he only made (or left) one of them." But he'll probably have more than that, heh. -
It's finally over. The chat is empty.

This might've turned into the greatest night of chat in history, as Marney made an appearance and made lewd comments at one of the lingering emo chicks. That alone made my night.

Dammit... the last few WON'T LEAVE. Someone come help us.

Erg... we thought it would be fun to invite some high school stereotypes and make fun of them, but they invited their friends and turned it into an AOL chat. Now, we're talking about politics very fervently since intelligent discussion is the bane of stupidity. We've winnowed it down to about six of them, but they're hanging on.
