    Kerry's VP

By the time NC rolled around, Edwards was already practically out of it. That's the problem with frontloaded primaries. He won't have any trouble having a draw in the south, and as gtd stated, he'll look very good next to Kerry. He might even be able to spice up Kerry's message a bit. I, personally, think it's going to be a wildcard, though. Edwards seems like the obvious pick, but... I don't buy it. For all the talk about it, I really can't see him picking anyone that has aspirations for 2008/12. So, perhaps someone like Russ Feingold, maybe? A ticket of two Senators is less than appealing, but Feingold may help to neutralize the effect of third parties, and he'd be another Cheney-type VP. I'm not saying he'll pick Feingold, but if I had to bet, it would be someone out of right field like that.

    Kerry's VP

As much as I denied him even being in the running a few months ago, it's either gonna be Edwards, or a complete wildcard. For all your claiming that Edwards has no play in the south, you're obviously ignoring the fact that he won South Carolina by a mile and recently, a Kerry/Edwards v. Bush/Cheney ticket had the Dems up by 3 in North Carolina. He's got plenty of pull, and Kerry isn't going to pick someone who overshadows him. That means Hillary, who obviously has presidential aspirations of her own in 2008 or 2012.

    Kerry's VP

This is what you get for reading Drudge too much. The chances of Hillary for VP are 0. There is no chance in hell.

Actually, I agree with Cerebus, but the last part of his post kinda made me giggle. Technicality? Of course. But you exaggerated a bit EDIT: Fucker. Beat me to it by a matter of seconds.

For one, a military draft tends to put people in harm's way.

    Possible Problem for Kerry

Republicans don't use 527's, obviously. They're better than Democrats.

    Nader officially irrelevant.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/26/...reut/index.html Nader failed to win the Green party nomination, and doubly failed by not getting enough delegates to vote "No Nominee" and allow state parties to nominate whomever they want. In effect, Ralph Nader probably won't be on more than 10 states' ballots come election time. The Green nominee, Cobb, has also pledged to only campaign in "safe states" in an attempt to avoid a 2000 repeat. Chris Bowers of MyDD has a more astute analysis of Nader's situation. So, the media can stop using Nader in the national Bush/Kerry polls any time now. He'll have no effect whatsoever in 2004.

    Nader officially irrelevant.

As I said, he has a platform other than that. He's got plenty of proposed plans and whatnot, and you could find them if you bothered to take the time and head over to johnkerry.com. But, I guess stuff like... bothering to research primary sources!?!!... is beyond you.

Haha, well, right there you're blaming "CE regulars" for flaming all over the rest of the board. Personally, I really don't care. I just think it's funny, as I stated up there.
