SNK vs Capcom Chaos has been dumped into the form of SVC Plus, a bootleg with all the sub bosses unlocked. Get the rom from here http://www.neogamez.net/ Click on the second link. And if your using windows to download it you will be cut off many many times before fully downloading it so get Bullet proof ftp and click on the "enter url" button in the program and enter the url of the zip file. This rom DOES NOT run on mame or neorage and will only run on nebula or kawaks. To make it run on nebula download this data file and put it in the rom data folder. And your are good to go. I dont how to get it running with Kawaks yet but I'll post an update.

Jackie Brown is the overall better film, followed by Res. Kill Bill was WAY below my expectations for it to be even considered on that list.

The episode was pretty lame, not half as good as the previous two.

NM has the three way ladder match, and if you have two friends playing thats all you ever need.

I got this game yesterday and have been been playing it pretty solid. The cutscenes are amazing and the action is non-stop if not sometimes difficult to control. My gripe isnt the short length of the game but at the somewhat awkward control and camera, especially the fact that use have to use L3 for jogging which is really hard to keep up. Although the pros significantly outweigh the cons in the game. Anybody else played it?

Why wouldn't they be able to maintain continuity? From Tekken 2 to Tekken 3 there was a 19 year gap without a tournament. Same thing with a bunch of other fighting games. The only weird part is that KOF uses the year as the title. Its king of fighters, its been a yearly tournament for almost ten years now. And to quote Andrew it would not work unless Rock was really taking his vitamins for the past two years. Kain and Rock didnt even meet each other until 2008, let alone form a team. If they named it king of fighters 2008 or even king of fighters: *insert title* then yes it would be acceptable. But due to the fact its king of fighters 2003 it needs to have continuity. And Andrew I didnt mention 98 because Real bout is basically kof 98 (dreamatch 99 is strictly the dreamcast name). Only in 2002 has their not been an official kof tournament.

That's what I'm assuming is the idea. No, Kof games actually have continuity to them (besides 2002).

I've got the first one, and its bad. Really really bad. Horrendous pre-nes style muffled sound. NO hit detection whatsoever (I swear I've actually managed to get passed Kim's DM by just going trough him) and terrible english translation. Also I'm not a fan of the control setup, I would have much preferred a NGP hold the button for heavy attack approach. The only thing its good for is to say you own a kof title for the GBA and thats about it. Howling blood however is much better from what I've played. Although I've only played it sporadically at my friends since I dont really want to splash out on importing it. I got the Gba rom of it though so I might give it another try later.

I just love the special death shots you can do to the bosses, and the character design by Trigun creator Yashiro Nightow (anybody who's seen Trigun Bunji Kugashira is a dead ringer for Wolfwood). Also the voice of Vash (Masaya Onosaka) plays the character Balladbird Lee. I've also watched some of the new Gungrave anime and its very impressive.

I always thought that bishomen were supposed to look like frail malnutritioned girls with long hair. The Sepiroth in that pic looks like she was kicked from the shot put team for taking steriods.

Like it or not [and I don't], I think there are a lot of fans of FFVII. Why everyone loves that game so much is beyond me, but hey, that's just my opinion. However, I must say that the video they showed of Advent Children was awesome. In OPM, they have a pic of Cloud, and one of Sephirtoh, and on the side they have screencaps from the video. The CG models look very detailed [and, yes, totally bishy] and I'm trying my best to get the damn trailer downloaded. So...its okay if its sucks, as long as the main virtual characters in it are hot? I never said it'd be okay. I haven't played much of FFVII, so I can't really be in the argument of if the movie is good or not. I printed the article up because I figured there were a lot of fans of FFVII on the board. Just because I think the charas are hot, doesn't mean I think the movie will be 'OMG TEH BEST EVERZ!!111!1!!'. Hm, Sephiroth looks like a shemale.

I know there are a plethora of anime threads on this board, but since they probably go a while back I thought I'd start a new one. Animes I've seen recently: Zone of the enders: dolores Vol 1 - Although a slightly novel idea, the dvd kind of bored me with its lack of a decent plot (but hey there is still time) and pretty pathetic action. I don't think I'll be picking up vol 2 anytime soon. Outlaw star - Only have a couple of the episodes but from what I've seen I like it very much. I found it much more likable than Cowboy bebop. Highly recommended. Bastard - Again another anime I've just started to watch. The show is pretty funny I guess but I don't think fantasy anime is really my thing. Gundam SEED - After the sheer crap that was gundam wing (so bad infact I gave up after watching half of the episodes) I didnt really think I would enjoy SEED, but to my surprise I've really enjoyed what I've seen of the series so far. Definitely recommended Anybody else?

I've watched about four episodes of the newly fansubbed Gungrave and its is absolutely awesome. Fantastic animantion, superb music and a very gritty feel to it. Best thing I've seen in a long time. Also I've been trying to download the original macross series from DC++ but they as hard as hell to find, but I refuse to watch to watch robotech as it doesnt follow the continuity of the macross series and plus its dubbed.
