Suikoden 1 (ps) Huzzah!

Renegade: Except for Gals' Fighters, I pretty much have all the same titles as you. Can you give me your opinion on those above games, and how I might be able to get ahold of them? Metal Slug: 2nd mission: What the first metal slug should have been. Better graphics, 3 vehicles and about 40 missions and also a very excellent time attack. You should be able to find this game at any good import site or shop, or give ebay a try. I got it from my local when it was released. RockMan Battle & Fighters: Much like the arcade games, complete with classic style megaman graphics, as a fellow megaman fan I very much recommend it…although I have no idea where you would be able to find it. I got it from a friend who went to Hong Kong a while back. Evolution: Only 5000 English copies of the rpg were made and quite frankly it’s not worth it. Good graphics and decent character interaction let down by frustrating battles and a pathetic save system. This game is expensive, especially at Ebay where it can fetch very handsome prices. Try www.buyrite.net , they might have it, but personally I would only consider if you wanted to complete a collection. Again I got my copy again at my local when it was released.

The Neo-geo pocket is an awesome portable, so much so I actually bought two (one was second hand). The mini arcade stick is pure genius and the games are addictive. Screen is clear and sharp and easy to see even though its not backlit, not to mention the fact that it has the best battery life of any portable console I've seen. The two button system actually works shockingly well with fighting games and I really wish they used in on the GBA (holding the button for longer turns it into a heavy attack). Games I own: SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium The King of Fighters R-2 Metal Slug: First Mission Samurai Shodown 2! Sonic The Hedgehog: Pocket Adventure Fatal Fury: First Contact Evolution RockMan Battle & Fighters Metal Slug: 2nd Mission King of Fighters R-1 SNK Gals' Fighters SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighters 2 Expand Edition SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighter's Clash - Capcom Version (might be getting an SNK version soon) The Last Blade

In a way yes, they require you to buy swap magic boot discs BUT you are not required to open up your console. All you have to do is unscrew the cover of the cd drive.
-
Sure do, try and search for something called the "slide tool". I bought it and used it to play some import games I bought a while back, coincidentally one them being metal slug 3.

I wouldnt want to see a port of 3 on the gba, the measly little thing couldnt handle it. Just hope MS 3 is released outside the Japan, or mod your console and import it like I did, because its really worth it. Also pardon my ignorance but when exactly was a port of MS 3 announced for the GBA? I thought MS advance was still due…

Well, the current Castlevania artist, Ayami Kojima, draws her dudes that way. It isn't really an issue during gameplay or anything, so I don't care. Yes I am aware of Ayami Kojima being the current CV artist, its just Belmonts were never bishomen. Characters like Alucard and Soma arent Belmonts so they are understandable, I just think they could have given Juste a much better design without being a girl (see Julius).

Yes, Andrew, we already know that you're not into the game. Different strokes, different folks. FFTA is a perfectly acceptable RPG for the GBA, IMO <--- Notice the IMO... Okay, that's better. It's the thought that counts, and I happen to sincerely think FFTA sucks, and is an insulting piece of tripe with a battle system that is woefully in need of updating and smoothing out. Although if you judge it by just the battle system and not the story, it's not so bad. I second Circle of the Moon being somewhat blah. It's the only Castlevania game I'd sold after I purchased it. Oh, and Yuna, the other GBA CVs star bishonen! You love those! Yeah I know, a Belmont bishomen? Whats up with that?

Whatever you want man, its your damn username.

Do NOT buy each castlevania! Buy Harmony of Dissonance and the very very awesome Aria of sorrow but do not buy circle of the moon. It's quite possibly the worst Castlevania game released. Some other games to get (GBA): -Megaman zero -Megaman Battlenet 3 -At least one pokemon -Sonic advance 2 -Final fight one -Street fighter alpha 3 -Mario Kart Some games NOT to buy: Golden sun Golden sun 2 Earthworm jim 1 and 2

Nintendo loses money for first time...EVER!!!
Renegade replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in Video Games
I really hope the PSP kills all of the GBA's sales. Nintendo have done too many things that have pissed me off to no end. -
Are there any programs that would fix this?
-
That makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Do you mean a PS2/GC/Xbox port because it was released on the Dreamcast ages ago, and its not a fraction as good as the original.
