Give both a try and make your own decision, although I personally would much rather go for VF4 evolution.
-
Virtua fighter mini is better than the genesis/megadrive VF.

Most people consider America to have been 'born' (no revisionist history please!) after that mass genocide thing. Not quite as bad as the Terror of France, huh? How 'bout the reign of Napoleon? Nazi Germany? -=Mike Why do people always avoid the issue with comparisons?
-
I must admit, VF's characters are lame and always were its weak point but you cant dismiss a game because of its character design as I would still take a VF game over Tekken any day.
-
Not really, they can be but usually are not since a good opponents aim is not to ring out you right from the get go. Also ringouts can cause some much needed tension during some matches as you try to get the hell away from the ledge...plus I dread to think of 3d fighting games with corners.

That is totally absurd; I do not know a single person who got into VF because they were pro-Japan. That isn’t even scrub mentality, if anything ignorant gamers like that would actually go for the Tekken series since it has a much wider fanbase than Virtua fighter does (that is not a bash on real Tekken players).

And Flik, you say you had an enlish copy of tactics ogre for the snes? Well that one is news to me... *goes on the search*

Emuasylum now has neogeo roms of Crouching tiger hidden dragon (a fan hack of the king of fighters 2001) and the ever so strange Martimelee.

The DVD drive in my PS2 is pretty much stuck, it wont eject when I press the eject button, nor will it even let me pull the drive out even when the PS2's power is off. Any help please?

I’ve been a casual of silverchair for a while, I own frogstomp and have heard freak show and Neon ballroom a while back so when I saw the Diorama CD at a sale I thought what the hell and bought it…and the album is simply stunning, not at all like any of the so-so grunge records. From the opening of “across the night” I was hooked right until the very end, and for someone who doesn’t usually listen to this type of music that’s saying something. Any other fans?

Ok, just what Top rom are you downloading from emuasylum? The one I downloaded works fine for me. I downloaded this rom: Tales of Phantasia (J) [T-Eng1.2_DeJap].zip If there is still a problem what emulator are you using?

There is no patch for Tactics ogre for the snes...yet. Sorry about that. I'll see what I can do about ToP

Sorry Dandy I didnt atcually reply to your question. The trick is to lure Rugal into doing a genocide cutter. First wait for Rugals fireball and leap right over him, with the correct timing Rugal will miss the genocide cutter giving your a free combo. Wash rinse and repeat. If you want a more hassle free (and more cheap) bout with Rugal your team needs to consist of K'9999, Kula and Vanessa. K'9999's jumping strong punch has some very good priority against the cutter. For Kula make sure you somehow corner Rugal and weak kick him to death as you mix it up with a few Ray spins. And for Vanessa use her dash and cancel it into her DM. Hope it helped.

I'm looking for Sega CD games, Captain Tsubasa in particular. Could anyone hook me up with it? (or other sega CD roms). I'm willing to trade with the many many many roms in my possesion.

I'm going to start posting roms sites from console to console, starting with the Super nintendo Main site: Emuasylum.com- Hands down best snes roms site, only problem is that you wont find any mario or kirby there. Backup site: Romnation.net- Again it does not have any mario or Zelda and unlike asylum you have to vote, but its a good place to go to if you really want a sure rom. For those who want nintendo roms here are two sites: www.coolrom.com/snesroms2.php (you need to vote) http://www.ciudadfutura.com/gamesworld/snes.html (I think you have a dialy limit of how many roms you can download) That should be all you need. Recommended emulator: Snes9x (too many places where you can download it from, I personally use the 1.39mk version) Games that I recommned: Mario world, Yoshi island, Secret of mana 2, Chrono trigger, Super punch out, Super castlevania IV, Zelda link to past, Captain Tsubasa 3, Megaman X series, Megaman 9, Megaman and Bass, NBA Jam TE, Kirby superstar, Clock tower, Mario Kart, ISS Deluxe and Boy soccer team (hack) or its real name captain tsubasa 5. Game patches: http://www.rpgclassics.com/trans/snestrans.shtml Which can be patched using snes tool, just read this page http://www.rpgclassics.com/trans/howtopatch.shtml That should get any snes fan sorted, but IF you still have a problem finding a rom I could help you with it.
