  1. Unlike the GN they never mention how he grew them in larkhill, so how'd she know that V was the one doing the killings?

I feel that the whole virus issue was mainly for Finch to turn sides. While it makes alot more sense than his LSD drug trip in the novel, it did seem a bit excessive.

Oh yeah after watching the film a second time, I loved how they handeled Prothero.

  2. This would have added a nice little action scene and also made V a bit more sympathetic to boot (though I dunno if V being sympathetic is exactly a high priority).

It's not. V should not be sympathised with.

What I want to know is why did the coroner freak out by seeing the flower, since it was never mentioned V grew them in the movie.

  3. The film was much better than I thought it would be, although there were some pretty crappy scenes (V being humanized, the "kiss" with Evey), the good vastly outweighed the bad. Also Hugo Weaving was fantastic as V.

Thats not to say its on par with the source material, but honestly many of key points in the GN could never have made it to the movie.

  4. In a nutshell:

Everyone is fed up with being stuck in their "paradise" while superboy constantly rewatches moments from his life on his earth. Alex also annoyed that he has basically had no life at all, drives superboy crazy and violent by showing him footage of his parents death. This causes Superboy to start pounding away at the walls, causing the retcons. It's also revealed that Superboys pounding is the cause of Lois's sickness. Alex convinces superboy that they can find the perfect earth and gives him his antimatter powers. Superboy breaks out and starts to set the events that lead to crisis.

One thing that I don't get is why there was any need for the society. Surely Superboy is more than capable to capture the people needed for the machine.

  5. But if you're like the rest of mainstream America--you support our troops, believe in firmly responding to terrorists on our own shores, and/or respect Christianity--then
    *Stops reading*

I am curious how much of the graphic novel was kept in the film though.

  6. Secret files of IC was just superb. I love how they explain even the little touches like

Superboy snapping at being called crazy, why Alex kissed powergirl, "Superman" avoiding Ted...

. Superboy is like DC's Wanda, but the stories are actually good. RETCON PUNCH!

The teen titans annual was pretty lame imo. I never really cared about Cassie or the Conner/Cassie relationship and since its pretty much the main focus I found it very forgettable.
