The thing about Delgado, is that his 2nd half this season was better than his 2nd half in '03. His first half was just so horrible (plus he was injured for about 6 weeks) that it dragged all his stats down.

Well, they'll be playing young players, but they are good players who showed promise in '04. Ricciardi's said that his ideal payroll would be ~$70 million, and Rogers may still bump up how much he'll pay this year since they're almost breaking even now (though I doubt they were losing as much as they said they were a few years ago).

Probably to give Quiroz some playing time. The shitty 2004 has kind of bought them some rebuilding time, so no one expects them to contend in '05 now, so they can get away with having a bunch of rookies play (Quiroz, Adams, Rios, and Gross are all going to be in their first full seasons and will probably get quite a bit of playing time and Bush should probably be in the rotation, at least to start the season). Are there any catchers out on the trade market? I really wouldn't be surprised if Orlando Hudson got traded (especially if he wins the Gold Glove, his trade value will be high).

My favourite Treehouse episode is probably the first one, but I generally don't like them very much. Homer At The Bat (my Fox affiliate showed this before the game Saturday) and Marge vs. The Monorail are probably the top 2. Everything else I like is just grouped together below that. About the only one from the past few seasons that I'd mention in that would be Hungry Hungry Homer.
