So, I went to sleep right after the baseball game ended last night, so I had this dream that the Blue Jays made the playoffs. It's the ALCS, and someone on the Jays (Eric Hinske, I think), hits a 2-run homer. Now, since the score is 3.5 to 1.53 in favour of the Royals (who have also, somehow, made the playoffs), the Blue Jays take a 3.53-3.5 lead. I then came on the internet and sent an IM to someone, telling them that the Blue Jays were going to make the World Series, because they are winning the first game of the series by .02 runs. Then, they cut to this guy in the studio who is talking about some guy named 'Darth'. I'm assuming this guy used to be a manager, or something, as he's wearing a baseball cap and a jacket. Anyway, he keeps going on about this Darth fellow, saying things like, 'When we needed a big hit, I put Darth in,' or 'If the ball was hit to him, Darth would make the play'.

The only reason that our local paper covers the league is because there's a girl who went to high school here who plays for Washington.

I hope you weren't getting paid for this post.

I don't think it was a comment about them playing badly, just that the team always seems to give you some sort of false hope before ultimately coming up short.

Yeah, thankfully I got out before that was implemented.

The CFL's fun. The players and coaches aren't really on the same level as the NFL, neither are the television production values, but it's usually a good game.

New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine. I've at least spent the night in each of them, except New Hampshire, which was a drive thru on the way to Maine. In Canada, Ontario, Quebec, BC, and Alberta. Same deal as the States, except for just spending a few hours in the Calgary airport last year on the way to and back from BC.

I thought it was a lot better than last week's show, too. The debate sketch was a little better this go around, but I wish they'd stop doing them. The Vice-Presidential one was better. C'mon, 'Your pubes look GREAT!' was awesome, though.

Missed 76, which was Gagne winning the Cy Young last year.
