Are they live anywhere in the States? It's on CBC right now so I figured one of the cable networks in the US would be showing it now before NBC shows it tonight.
-
The Jays are actually 2 games over .500 at home now after starting off 0-8 at SkyDome. What's really killing them is their horrible 19-40 road record.

It's funny, because Hedger was the 'token bitch' on the Lofters reality show a few years back and she springboarded that into a nice role on TSN. The black girl on that show was the weather/entertainment girl (maybe not both, I can't really remember) on an Ottawa TV station for a little bit, but I don't think anyone else has done anything memorable since then.

I'm just hoping to stay in the top 12 so I can play in some playoff a little bit longer. I think I'm 14 games up on 13th, so it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd really like to squeak up into the 'real' playoff bracket or at least high enough to get a bye in the 1st round of the consolation.

I'm not very optimistic seeing how the team has been playing lately. Granted, it's been mostly against the Yankees and the Indians at the hottest they've been all year. They play a lot better at home, though, so hopefully they can win the Baltimore series and get some momentum going so I don't get any more depressed.

This has been the worst season ever. Ted Lilly goes 6 2/3, only giving up 1 run before leaving it to the bullpen with a runner on first. Ligtenberg walks the three batters he faces, tying the game at 2. Vinny Chulk comes in and gives up a grand slam to Broussard and it's 6-2 now. This team is going to lose 100 games.
-
So, I'm guessing his last trip there wasn't a success.
-
Probably Brodeur, though Luongo and Theodore will probably get a game in each. This is probably for the best and won't make much of a difference in the tournament. I was actually pretty surprised when he was named to the team originally.

5 runs in 6 innings is good enough, I guess.
-
Well, I've seen it on both CityTV and Bravo, which are both owned by CHUM in Canada.
-
Hm, hopefully the Jays can at least lay a whooping on Loaiza and make me feel a little better.

This reminds me of the time some fat women came into the grocery store I work at and apparently exploded in the bathroom. The whole place had shit all over, it was on the wall, in the sink, and some of it actually landed in the toilet. Of course, then she walked around the store with her huge ass wet with shit and pieces of it actually still on the pants. I pity the cab driver who had to take her home and I especially pity whoever got into the cab after her.

It's weird, since I've seen the un-cut orgy scene on TV a few times yet people buying the DVD apparently aren't allowed to see it.
-
I think it says more about where the team plays than it does about the team. Oh, and I defintitely second Kahran's disaster comment.
-
This is going to be depressing.

They had to do something. A team that could have won 90 games last year had they had a decent bullpen shouldn't be on pace to lose 90 games the next year (I'd assume, I haven't really looked into it, but it's been a horrible season) with basically the same roster. It's not his fault that Wells, Delgado, and Halladay have all underachieved and been injured, but even if you go back to last year, his team had the best pitcher and 2nd best player (according to the award voting) and only finished in 3rd place.
-
It's better to be subtle.
-
You'd think that someone would have stepped in and snuffed this out before it got to this point. And I wonder if the 7,600 people who voted for him realized that he's a retard or just checked him off since he was the only name on there.

Shall I, again, mention PRECISELY what Kerry did on 9/11? He's said, EXACTLY, what he did --- you know, back before he decided that this would be a nice little attack to make. The thing is, that's what he did as a Senator. This 'attack' on Bush is just him saying that he wouldn't have stayed in the classroom. You're blowing this way out of proportion.
-
Alright, Mike and Jig, stop with the stupid flaming. There's a difference between 'heated discussion' and outright flaming and it's gone pass that line. That being said, this is rather lame. It would almost make you think that Kerry actually wants to win this election.
-
They have this Ghost Walk thing here in the summer, too, and there are a bunch more places that apparently are haunted.
-
I think Beane wanted Kielty partialy because he doesn't make a lot of money, but if he traded Zito it would have shed more payroll that would have allowed him to get a more expensive player.
-
Save perentage really shouldn't be effected by what style your team plays, and if you're a good goalie you're GAA should be at least sub-3.00 in this era.
-
I know, but Zito probably could have brought in a better player from another team.
-
I remember someone on ESPN.com saying that they should have traded Zito instead of Lilly last off-season since they could have gotten more for him than Bobby Kielty.
