There are too many redbarons now. One was enough.

Not that Marty York has the most credibility, but apparently the Marlins are offering the Blue Jays a package of prospects for both Frank Catalanotto and Gregg Zaun. So long as they're good prospects, I'd have no problem with that trade at all.

Josh Phelps hit the 11th home run into the 5th deck at SkyDome with a monster grand slam against Seattle. It was better when there was actually people up there to catch those balls, though.

I'm looking at the Blue Jays record and comparing it to the Phillies record and I'm jealous. They're worse than the fucking DEVIL RAYS!
-
The twins thing sounds kind of interesting, but I think they're going a bit too far with all the twists and turns. How are people supposed to get involved in what's going on when they know it's not nescessarily going to mean anything in 5 minutes.

I've heard some commercials on the radio for that place over the past few weeks. They have some other weird stuff that I can't be bothered to remember right now.

I'm kinda glad Hallday's not going because of his shoulder injury. If it's not 100% yet, then the 3 extra days off will help. I would have taken Batista (or even Frasor) over Lilly, though.

Man, EVERYONE I've talked to (Sens fans and non-Sens fans) think Hasek is a bad idea. I'm not going to say, anything, though, since the Leafs gave a goalie who can't play a whole season at least 2 years. Really, I'm hoping for the first half to be wiped out by a lock-out so that the Leafs won't get worn down by a whole season. Their big streak came at about the halfway mark, it could happen again.

It depends on what province you're in. You can't buy any alcohol in grocery stores in Ontario, but you can in Quebec (and other places, too, I'm sure).

I'm kind of glad that Halladay's not there due to his shoulder injury, although I probably would have taken either Batista or Frasor over Lilly.

5'11" and somewhere between 180-190 lbs, so I probably could stand to lose a little bit of weight.

I think the 2nd strike was a good call, but I thought the 3rd one was a little low. Maybe if Torre hadn't put Sturtze in there in the 9th they would have won, anyway.

I'm looking to upgrade at SS in the NL league and I'm willing to trade one (or more) of Ensberg, Miles, or Castillo if anyone needs someone at 2B or 3B.

Jim Carrey, even if it is mostly for his huge blockbuster comedies as opposed to his serious roles.

Motherfucker.

Man, thank God the schedule makers put the Jays/Rays on in the afternoon, giving SportsNet the chance to show this game tonight.
-
The Jays destroyed the Rays today, 14-0, with 20 hits. Not one of them was a home run, though, and there's no one on the team in double digits in that category. To be fair, though, either Delgado or Wells would probably be there if they were healthy.

It was too long so there wasn't enough room to put in the quote tag at the end. I edited it so it should be good now. Mike, if you want to post the article again, you're probably going to have to split it into more than 1 posts.

It was pretty much my own fault, but I was playing either NHL '94 or '95 for the Genesis and had a few goal lead, but felt like playing an OT game, so I pulled my goalie, scored a couple times on my own net with about 30 seconds left to tie it up and thought I was all ready for overtime. Of course, the other team wins the face-off and goes down to score with 15 seconds left and wins the game.

Some guy was selling all the snow in his backyard last winter.

I've decided Jason Frasor should represent the Jays thing year. People like saves and he's the rookie leader in that catergory (with a whopping 7), but he's really only had 2 or 3 bad outings. Might as well give him a shot.

For all the fuss that people make about Jennifer Lopez and all her relationships, marriages, etc. Britney's WAY ahead of her pace.

http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?ID=89580&hubName=nhl The Leafs re-signed both Roberts ($3.75 million) and Nieuwendyk ($3 million) to one year deals. EDIT: And SportsNet just said that they signed Belfour to a 2-year deal. Didn't catch for how much, though.

Lindros is obviously going to have to take a paycut. If he really wants to go to Toronto then it would probably be for about $3 million/year, but he might be able to squeeze some more money out of someone else.
