Well, I guess the Leafs were due for one of their patented stinkers. At least they usually play a lot better after they get their asses kicked, plus, they've played better at home. Fuck, this is disgusting.
-
Ho-lee FUCK, that was horrible. That shorthanded one especially hurts since it's a 2 goal instead of a 1 goal lead. Hope they got some momentum from the last one, though.
-
Shouldn't he stick to that, then, and not write entire articles running down not only the readers, but other writers on the site?
-
It's more horrible in that I'd rather Calgary and Toronto come out of the Conference Finals (or, if the Leafs make it, a Toronto/Detroit final would be nice, too). Also, the ice in Tampa is bad enough now in late April, so I doubt it would be any better in June, and shitty ice usually makes for shitty hockey.
-
I have a horrible feeling it's going to be a San Jose/Tampa Bay finals. I hope that Montreal can take at least 2 games from the Lightning so that if the Leafs win (and they'll have to go at least 6 games to do it) Tampa won't be sitting at home resting for a week before playing again.

In the process of fixing it up right now, but in a few days it should be like this: When you walk into the door, the TV (with VCR and DVD player) will be on the right, pretty much at the foot of my bed. Straight ahead will probably be my computer and beside that on the right will probably be my dresser. I'll have some posters up, too, mostly Leafs ones.

Peggy Hill's a douche, probably the most unlikeable character on TV (aside from some villains, I suppose). Bobby and Hank (and almost anyone else on the show) are great, though. Mark Ruffalo? He's awesome.
-
Nah, it's fine, no one HAS to read it, that's what the spoiler tags are for. Doesn't make it any less tempting, though.
-
Man, that is so tempting to highlight.

Eh, saying they've been dominated is a little strong, I think, especially when it seems to me that they've been pretty even most of the time. I don't really buy the old and broken down thing, either, it's just unfortunate that the biggest injuries happen to their best forwards, for the most part (Sundin, Nolan, Nieuwendyk), and Nolan's was a fluke that could have happened to a 20 year-old as much as it could have happened to a 40 year-old. Nieuwendyk's back seems to be the only one really caused by age and wear-and-tear. They need to start getting someone in front and tipping shots, since Esche has stopped everything so far that's been right on.

I guess a homerun will do, too. Having Jones on one of my fantasy teams takes some of the sting out of it, I guess, but it still fucking sucks.
-
You gotta love the Blue Jays bullpen. Batista's best start of the season is wasted and the Twins are a sac fly away from winning the game.
-
Well, I'm not exactly at my most confident right now, but I still think they can win their 2 home games and tie the series up. It's not as if they've been outplayed at all this series, Esche is just doing to them what Belfour did to the Sens last round. The series can be over just as easily as it can be tied up once game 4's over.
-
Hopefully.

Ted Lilly is in some kinda zone tonight. Only 2 hits for the Twins through 8 and he's probably done for the night with a 6-1 lead.
-
Good thing they hadn't descended yet.
-
Yeah. I cry my eyes out everytime you post.
-
Well, you'll excuse me if I don't take Jeffrey Loria's words at face value. He doesn't exactly have a sterling track record.
-
Man, what a guy that Loria is. Is a new stadium THAT important for the Marlins? I mean, they've won 2 World Series there, it can't be that bad.
-
Can you buy season's tickets?
-
This really isn't working. I think the Flyers should just put Burke in net, as Esche obviously isn't getting the job done.
-
Looks like the Blue Jays bats woke up today, murdering Baltimore 15-3.
-
Shit, I was sure they tried 3 of them. Oh well, viva la small ball.
-
I think the Jays had more sac bunts today than they did all of last season.
-
I FINALLY get a win out of my pitchers, with both Escobar and Foulke picking up victories. About damn time.
