Are you familiar with the works of KingOfThe909?
-
There's that one picture that made the rounds a long time ago, I think it was from Backlash '02 of Hogan standing in the ring during HHH's entrance where he looked like he was glowing.

They had me work a few night crew shifts at the store I work at last summer. It was great, since I usually work in the meat department they didn't give me anything hard to do. The 2nd shift I worked I did about 2 hours of actual work and wandered around the store for the other 6.

Post picz plz.

Well, he isn't credited for being in the movie but it sure as hell looked just like him. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. The only thing, is that he might not be the same size as Murphy. Yeah, I thought he might have been a little too small, too, but maybe there was some trickery in there. They showed him a lot, though, and I don't think they would have done that for someone who wasn't a big name.

Really? Wayans was probably my favourite character in the movie, along with probably the old lady. Everyone else was kinda blah with me, especially Lump (and [mild spoilers] you could see what happens to his character towards the end coming a mile away). I'd probably give it an 8/10, too. BTW, was that Eddie Murphy who played the conducter of the church choir?

I think career is kinda far, but I'd bet he's gone for the year. Fuck.

I always loved the old Double J promos where he'd smile at the end and his tooth would sparkle.

Yeah, I was talking about Brodeur. Terreri was the backup in '95 (and in '99 for that matter, too). Also, I think it's unfair to say it's mostly the system he plays in that makes him such a good goalie. Especially if we're going to put Grant Fuhr in the Hall of Fame for playing for a team that scored 5 goals a night and just needed him to allow less than that.

Oh, and Vader pounding the fuck out of Cactus Jack's face on Saturday Night, especially the uncensored version on the Foley DVD.

Fit Finlay and Regal had a nice little stiff match at Uncensored '96.

The thing is, there are about 7 teams in the East that 'should' be able to make the Finals. And I don't like the Isles much, but if they steal a game or two on the road, it could be tough for the other team to win on Long Island and before you know it, we have an upset. Three or four teams in the East alone that have a really good shot at winning it all are going to be gone after the first round.

I wouldn't have a problem putting him in. Probably the best American born goalie ever, but he's just a notch below the other great goalies of today (Roy, Brodeur, Hasek, Belfour) and that could hurt him. He might not get in his first year eligible, but I'd say there are decent odds he'll be in there eventually.

George W Bush makes joke about lack of WMDs

Eh, I chuckled, but I don't have any emotional attachment to the war. If I had a friend or family member who had died in Iraq I'd probably be offended by it. -
The only goalie of the past 15 or so years I'd take ahead of Brodeur is Patrick Roy. It's hard to compare goalies from different eras due to differences in equipment and the like, but there's no way you can keep someone who's won 3 Stanley Cups and an Olympic Gold medal out of the top 10, regardless of the system he plays in.

It might be more valid if you weren't flaming people in your own sig.

Apparently Joseph tweaked his ankle again, so that's why Legace's been getting the last few starts. Bad news for my fantasy team.

So Edmonton's in 7th now after an OT loss to Dallas, who themselves are only 1 point behind the SJ and Colorado who are tied for 2nd place in the conference. They can't play each other AGAIN, can they?

But he gets that awesome exchange rate. He can live like a King.

Vancouver's a nice place, even though I didn't see a whole lot of it when I was out there last spring. What I saw was nice, though. My 'spring' break was over a month ago and I spent most of it at home watching TV. I think you're having a better time.

The "This shirt is dry clean only. That means it's dirty" one? I think it just means that he's too cheap to get it dry cleaned, so it's dirty. Didn't he play the guy who runs The Hub on that one episode of That 70's Show?

Banky's just jealous no one's ever knitted him little booties.

That's my cat, Freddy. He's pretty much an asshole who doesn't like anyone and just sleeps in my parents' closet all day so no one can get to him and only comes out when he's hungry. He'll only get in your lap voluntarily if you're the first person up in the morning and he wants to get fed. He'll put up with a lot of shit, though, like people picking him up when he doesn't want to be, without scratching or anything like that, so that's good. He's also not allowed outside since we don't think he'd come back, so whenever he manages to get out he'll hide underneath the porch until he gets bored. Doesn't watch SpongeBob, though.

I watched the TNN show, and, yes I know that TNN didn't exactly promote it very well, but I don't blame them for ECW dying. Getting national exposure wasn't the problem, it was Heyman making boneheaded decisions. It probably didn't help that his champion was leaving almost as soon as the show debuted, but giving the belt to Mike Awesome, who was barely on TV for the first few months he was champ was a dumb move. You had RVD and Raven, both of who were incredibly over who would have made better champs. RVD was TV champ, but you could have just stripped him of that belt if he won the big one like they did with Warrior after WrestleMania VI. Giving Credible the belt was stupid, too, but he really didn't have much of a choice at that point. He never pulled the trigger with RVD and then he ran out of time, with RVD breaking his leg, leaving the company, and then coming back for what I think ended up being the last show. And, no, I really wasn't much of a fan, but I tried to be. I watched the TNN show most weeks, I ordered most of the PPVs, and I bought some tapes, but aside from a few things, nothing stood out to me as being great. TNN sure didn't help ECW out much, but it's not their fault that the company died. I really think the average fan will see a WWE commercial for ECW and think that it's just a 3rd rate promotion, and, if the roster is what most people expect it to be, it will be filled with guys that are pretty much viewed as 3rd rate guys in WWE. Just a stupid idea in my eyes.
