    This isn't misogynist at all.

    Don't be so sure.

    Hot for Jesus?

"Fossils are the burried remains of the wicked men and animals that perished 4,000 years ago in the Flood!" Well, I guess you learn something new everyday.

So I Have a Radio Show.

You should play 'Blinded By The Light', since everyone else is, for whatever reason.
  4. Or, if you have injury problems, you need to be amazing when you're healthy, like Lemieux and Orr. Forsberg is a very good, sometimes great player when healthy, but not head and shoulders above everyone else, like Lemieux and Orr could be.

    Did Someone Die?

And it was on again last night.
  6. Yeah, he's way too injury prone. He's in the Hall of Fame for sure, but I wouldn't put him in the top 10 best players in NHL history, let alone call him the best ever.

Well, if the Rangers are dumping salary, they're not going to want to take on Turek's contract when McClennan's is so much smaller.

McClennan got traded to the Rangers, so no playoffs to prove himself in until he gets traded again.
  9. I can't believe no one's pointed out how awesome this is yet.

Committee votes to ban Leaf jerseys at Corel Centre I can see this backfiring, big time.

    SmartMarks Fantasy Hockey?

So I have all 3 of my goalies playing tonight, but 2 in the same game so I start Joseph over Kiprusoff in the Wings/Flames game since I figure Detroit will beat Calgary, but not only does Joseph not even start but the Wings lose so I don't get Kiprusoff's stats. Ugh. At least I got a win out of Theodore, though.

I think the Leafs/Flyers game on Thursday is on ESPN. Of course, that's a game I could probably do without watching, given the results of their last few encounters.

    scott keith's wmxx review

There's nothing wrong with liking a match more based on who goes over. I mean, in game 7 of the ALCS was a great game, but do you think many Red Sox fans are going to like it as much as Yankee fans did? The outcome will affect your enjoyment.

I was listening on the radio and gave up when it was 5-2, but I just turned it back on to see how it ended and the Leafs tied it up. Sounded like a great game, I guess I'll catch the highlights.
  15. Ottawa's never had a PPV. With Edmonton getting Backlash that means every city in Canada with an NHL quality arena has had at least 1 (even motherfucking HAMILTON), yet Ottawa still gets shut out, getting maybe a few house shows a year and 2 TV tapings since '97.

    WONDERFALLS

Eh, I liked it, but it's nothing I would call hilarious. The only 2 parts where I really laughed were when Jaye got punched over the purse and the scene in the hospital where Jaye's sister and the guy's ex-wife were looking at each other and he couldn't do anything about it. I guess at the end where the nurse was looking at the girl in the store and the guy was worried again was funny, too, but other than that I didn't think it was anything special. I'll probably give it another chance, especially since I don't usually like pilots, anyway, so hopefully it will get better.
  17. Global TV cancels low-rated Mike Bullard Show effective immediately The show was horrible, but I kind of feel sorry for him. He's supposed to be pretty funny as a stand-up, but it doesn't translate well to a talk show format.
  18. At the theatre where I watched WrestleMania they were giving out PPV calendars/posters that say SummerSlam is August 15. Now, obviously that's not set in stone, or anything, but looking at the Jays schedule, the only time it could really be possible to have it at SkyDome would be on the 8th, when the Jays are in the middle of a series in New York. The 15th they're at home to Baltimore, and on the 22nd they play the last game of a series in Baltimore, but have a game at home against the Red Sox on the 23rd, which probably wouldn't give them enough time to take everything down and set the place up for baseball.
  19. I'm not sure SummerSlam will be at SkyDome this year since it's scheduled for August 15 and the Jays have a game that day. Maybe they'll still have it in Toronto at the ACC instead, but it would be difficult to have it at the 'Dome unless it's during a time when the Jays are on a long road trip so they can have time to set up and take down all the stuff.

    SmartMarks Fantasy Hockey?

I almost took that spot! I was only a few ties away from the #2 spot but it does not matter since I play the same team that I beat 14-2 so I shall be in the round TWO~. Ouch. Have fun in the 5th place game.
  21. Is that a basketball capacity or a hockey capacity? If it's hockey, then you can probably add another 1000 or so for how much the place could hold for wrestling. If it's basketball, then add less (if any). Anyway, it's almost 20,000, which is still pretty big arena-wise.

Holy fuck, Montreal and Toronto need to play each other in the playoffs(despite how tonight's game ended).

    NHL Western bubble teams

Well, I'm hoping from those teams that St. Louis doesn't make it, but Calgary isn't exactly a lock. I think they're only 2 points up on the 7 and 8 teams and 3 points up on the #9 seed. I think Edmonton's too far back with too little time left and they keep getting 1 point when they need 2. So yeah, Edmonton's going to miss for sure and I hope the Blues are the other one.
