I don't think spending that much in marketing really helped ROTK's ticket sales all that much, anyway, as it got a shitload of free advertising, too. Not as much as the Jesus movie, but still a lot.

Saw Eurotrip yesterday, I'd give it a 6/10.

There was this group a few years back that I'm sure was created so MuchMusic and Canadian radio stations could fill their CanCon quota called 'ID' (for 'Identically Different', I think). Now, if their song wasn't bad enough (about their girlfriend cheating on them, 'You've been busted/And you can't be trusted'), the video had this lame dance scene with them in an alley with nunchucks. Oh, and I can't forget the Canadian PopStars Sugar Jones. Their songs sucked but their videos were so hilariously bad that you had to watch them. I always crack up at the end of the one where they're all in a circle singing to each other about when days were like that. So fucking bad.

But what does 'war tumging' mean?
-
Well, hopefully Mel will give this dude his money back. God knows he's going to make oodles off of the movie, what's $42,000?
-
If the Leafs had played defence when Belfour was hurt as well as they did against Jersey it wouldn't have mattered that he was out.
-
Marney likes 'war tumging'? What's that supposed to say?
-
I think the Devils want him, too, but he's said that if he gets traded he hopes it's to Toronto, so... *crosses fingers*

They just said on the radio that the Caps are scratching Gonchar for tonight's game, but they're saying he has the flu. So, take that for what it's worth.

Yeah, Clinton and Chretien are friends but Jean wasn't a big fan of Bush. I think Martin's trying to change that but I doubt Bush really cares.

Police had 15 contacts with Columbine killers

Are you saying we shouldn't try and understand why they did what they did? Sure, these kids were fucked up but shouldn't we try and find out why they were so messed up so that something like this doesn't happen again? Say they hadn't turned the guns on themselves after this went down. Obviously they should have the book thrown at them, but if we're going to stick them in prison for the rest of their lives or put them on death row, shouldn't that time be used to figure out their reasoning for killing a dozen people? -
Limits conversation, my ass. Nothing's stopping anyone from starting a new thread anytime a big news story pops up. The OAO threads are good for a general discussion of the sport, IMO.

No, what I'm saying is that even though everyone says that the show declined when Fonzie jumped that shark, I was saying it went downhill before that happened, thus making the term 'jump the shark' meaningless.
-
Nah, he was trying to hard.
-
I watch the show everyday, but most of the time it's horrible. I don't care when Fonzie jumped that fucking shark, it went downhill after season 3.

Happy Days is (was) such a bad show most of the time.

Sleep hanging in a sleeping bag. Like an astronaut.

Well, we don't know that these girls don't want to be good wrestlers or even if they're expected to. This is pretty much the female equivalent of signing football players because they have a good look and hoping they turn out ok. It probably won't work out, but you could find a diamond in the rough.
-
Well, Trish had no real wrestling experience (besides a little training, and she sure wasn't hired for her wrestling ability) and she's turned out OK.

Yeah, it's not like they're identical or anything, but I think it's the eyes that do it.

Yeah, I meant that Wayne looks like Milliken's wife.
-
I'm not the only one who notices that Wayne and Milliken's wife look alike, am I?

My mom ain't so bad, just a bit of a nag, but I avoid that here at school.

Yeah, I think that was the Pens 12th win this season, so they're safe.
