Blue Jays: http://www.baseball-reference.com/draft/?f...aft_type=junreg C - Curtis Thigpen 1B - Casey Blake 2B - Orlando Hudson 3B - Ryan Freel SS - Michael Young LF - Adam Lind CF - Vernon Wells RF - Alex Rios DH - Jeff Kent SP - Roy Halladay SP - Chris Carpenter SP - Dustin McGowan SP - Shaun Marcum SP - Dave Bush RP - Mike Timlin RP - Casey Janssen RP - Jesse Litsch RP - Brandon League RP - Mark Hendrickson 1B, 3B, and C were slim pickings. I don't even think Thigpen's been in the majors this season, but he was the best pick, I think. Blake and Freel were basically the only ones there at those postions, even if they don't really play those positions most days. 2B was stacked, so I think Aaron Hill is the odd man out behind Hudson (or Kent). I also like that the outfield is the regular starting outfield for the team now (injuries not withstanding). The starting rotation is sick, but the bullpen is mostly just made of leftover parts.

The Birds Want some more Hitchcock and this is a decent one.

I think I've been to one sneak preview in my life: Turtles 2.

I'm going to baseball games in Scranton and Syracuse on the 4th and the 5th.

Arrested Development. I love the Office (and I'll be in Scranton, too, in a few weeks, for non-Office related reasons), but yeah, AD is better.

I saw some guy walking around the other day wearing Rachel Ray's terrorist scarf. He looked like an idiot, especially since it was a pretty warm and muggy day, but I think he was French, so maybe that explains it. -
The Joe Schmo Show I missed the first season and never got around to watching it, but the 2nd season was a thing of beauty. The episode where the girl found out that the show was fake was amazing.

Trailer Park Boys I hardly ever watch this show, even though almost everyone I know swears by how hilarious it is. Might as well check it out now.

Comedian Probably not the best made documentary, but I find the subject matter interesting.

Anything interesting that happens in the live feeds is on YouTube or some other video site pretty soon after. I wouldn't bother.

Usually it's just lettuce, tomato, pickle, swiss cheese, and mayo.

I think I met the most stereotypical 'dumb Americans' today at work. I work at the local harbour, and a boatfull of them came in to go to dinner and while one of them went in to check in with customs, the rest of them (well, the older ones, I think they had their kids with them) seemed to be in awe of the fact that they were actually in another country. The one guy asked me if they had to 'parlay frawn-say' and when I shook my head, his wife chimed in, 'Oh yeah, that's just down in Montreal, right?' The other woman was amazed that I sounded different than they did, while the girl I was working with didn't, and she kept pointing at me and yelling that I had some sort of an accent. Oh, and they also demanded that we show them how polite Canadians are, however you do that. -

I think this needs to be brought to everybody's attention.

Walk Hard Hilarious, plus the soundtrack is awesome, too.

Frailty Back when Matthew McConaughey actually tried to be an actor.

I just can't believe the Jays actually came back to win a game. If McGowan's out for any longer than the month some are saying (he might need surgery) and they trade Burnett, the pitching is going to go from awesome to mediocre pretty quickly. Especially if Brian Tallet, who has probably been the worst guy in the bullpen all season, is going to have to fill a rotation spot.

Batman Yeah, this is as campy as fuck, but I remember watching it after school every day.

Big Brother The US version, I guess. I like this show in spite of myself. I know it's awful, but I love how damn serious they try and make everything. It's also fun once the producers decide on a contestant they don't like and set out to make them come across as awful as possible.
