"We want the ball, we're gonna score!" Awesome.

You must mean feet, because 4 inches isn't going to make any difference.

FOX had some show on during the summer about weird things taken out of humans and #1 on the list was some old Indian dude who had his twin brother removed from his stomach area. He had lived for 60+ years with this big stomach then just one day started having pains, went to the hospital and they took it out, and I guess it was pretty much like the one described in this case, just a bunch of hair and teeth.

This is frustrating as the Leafs keep having to fight back in the 3rd after playing bad in the first 2 periods. Maybe I should just be happy that they didn't lose to Buffalo again, but their big buffer that they built up during the streak is disappearing too fast for my liking.

I'd get rid of the Ducks long before I'd get rid of the Sharks. In fact, they'd be one of the 4 teams I'd choose (don't need them in the same basic market as the Kings) along with the Hurricanes, Coyotes (I don't see why Gretzky was so intent on getting hockey to work in the desert), and probably the Penguins if they keep at this current rate.

The show's writing is terrible but there were/are actually some good cast members. A lot of the skits have good concepts but the writers are so bad that they just fall flat.

TV shows you like well enough to own on DVD

I've only got season 3 of the Simpsons, but I'd like both 24s, both Family Guys, both Futuramas, both King of the Hills, and at least season 2 of the Simpsons, if not season 1, too. There's a bunch more that I'd get, too, like Happy Days. -
I think the 'curse' was that the Cubs would never play in another World Series game again and they haven't since then.

So, McDonalds is pimping these 'new, white meat Chicken McNuggets' and have commercials EVERYWHERE ('If you're gonna change something, change broccoli!') and the ads work and before long I start craving the things. Now, admittedly, I never had the 'old' McNuggets very often, but is there supposed to be some sort of difference taste-wise? I definitely didn't taste any difference from the last time I had some McNuggets a few months ago. Also, I hope they aren't any more expensive than they were before (not that I eat them often), because if they don't taste better, there's really no reason to change the way you make them, as I don't think white meat chicken from McDonalds is really any better for you than whatever they used to make the McNuggets out of before.

Yeah, I don't usually expect to get everything I want, but this is probably the first year there wasn't one thing that I got that I REALLY wanted. I'm trying not to seem like I'm pouting or anything, but it was kind of upsetting to keep going back to the tree and just knowing that 95% of what I was picking up was a shirt.

I kind of feel bad for him, then I realize it's Alexei Yashin and laugh.

Kind of a disappointing haul this year as all I pretty much got was clothes. I mean, I asked for sweatshirts, but I didn't need 10 of them (most of them I'll probably forget about in about a month or so). My parents (well, my mom specifically) felt kind of bad since I asked for a bunch of DVDs and only got 2 (3 if you include one I got from my friend about a week ago) and those 2 were ones that I had at the bottom of my list for a reason, so she asked me if I wanted to return the ones she got for me and use the money to get something else, but I told her it was ok. I hate to sound like a spoiled brat, but it's not like I asked for these really rare, hard to find DVDs, I could take someone out to the store and show them every single DVD I asked for (not that I was really expecting to get all of them), but I think that some people in my family are just too lazy to actually look so they just go with the 'safe' gift. Next year I'm instituting a 'no clothes' rule, but I'm sure I'll still get about 5 sweatshirts. Looking at what I got, I didn't really get anything I wanted, just some stuff that I kind of needed but I got too much of it.

Over the summer, when TBS was playing 3 episodes a day, I really got into the show and saw the whole series pretty much the whole way through. Of course, when it came time for the last few episodes of the series, I was working a lot and missed them all so that kind of sucked.

I'd probably switch Ottawa's with Montreal's, I don't like the red stripe that much.

I have to disagree, as the uniforms that the Jets wore for their last few years in Winnipeg (with the re-designed logo) was one of my favourites. As for the Coyotes new sweaters, I prefer them over their old horrible things, and I actually don't mind the red but for some reason, I don't like the font that the players names are written in. I know it sounds kind of stupid, but something about it just bugs me. Other horrible NHL jerseys I don't think I've seen mentioned are the Wild's new home darks. I'm not sure if they're alternates, but I don't think I've seen them wear their old ones this year. The new ones look like some kid at some crayons, threw them all up and they called it a jersey. The Flyers' orange alternates are nicer than the Islanders' orange ones, but there's still too much orange for my liking. The Bruins' alternates have been mentioned (and as well they should have, since they're ugly and just about everyone knows it, yet they still wear them all the time), but I'm not a big fan of their normal uniforms, either. I think it may be that the yellow shoulder stripe it too big, but the sweaters they wore in the 70s (the yellow is smaller and there are no Paddington Bear shoulder patches) are SO much better that they should just go back to them. Also, I wouldn't call them the ugliest (they're not even that bad), but the Senators' home sweaters pale in comparison to their black alternates, or even the old black sweaters they used to wear with their 'normal' logo (and not that 3D one they use on their home and alternate ones now). There are so many ugly uniforms in the NHL, I have to wonder who thinks that these things will sell with the fans, which is the main reason why all these stupid things pop up. I can count the number of alternate jerseys in the NHL I like on one hand.

Never heard that one before.

I really thought the Leafs were going to lose tonight, but they got lucky and pulled it out. The Habs had 2 different shots and pretty much an empty net and came away with nothing, then the Leafs got a lucky deflection on Sundin's winner. I'm just glad they kept the streak up.

I must be one of the only people who doesn't like that Wild Mountain Chicken thing. I think it was the sauce that I didn't like the most, but the whole thing was a bit of a letdown.

On 'Without a Trace' he jumped out of a window.

That one dude's killed himself on 2 shows in just over a month, now.

The 5 OT game between Dallas and Anaheim will probably be the NHL game, unless they choose the All Star game or the Heritage Classic.

Man, this is working quite nicely right now.

I think the Jays might be after him, too, but I've heard a lot of rumours concerning possible closers for them.
