So, Cliff Fletcher is going to stay on for another year as Leaf GM. This is such a farce. I understand that Anaheim wants Burke to finish his contract, but having him for a year when he's just going to be a lame duck (har har) is dumb, especially when you could probably wrangle some compensation out of Toronto (although, they'd probably have to be draft picks). I know this is going to sound like some entitled Leafs fan getting mad that something didn't go their way, but it's just dumb on both sides.

I figured they would do it, but man, are they going to be obnoxious about it. Biggest news in sports, according to them, yesterday.

Arrested Development Probably the funniest show ever. Not too many episodes, but every one of them has a ton of laughs. GOB is one of the best characters in history, and there isn't a weak link in the cast.

The more I think about it, the more the fact that all the games will have a Canadian team seems dumb to me. I could understand if it was every Wednesday night game, but you're really limiting yourself in terms of match-ups if every game has to have one of 6 teams. If they pick up American feeds of some games, that's cool, but otherwise, I don't understand the logic.

Yankees already have someone up in the pen. 38 pitches. Even though they only scored 1 run, that was about as good as it could have gone for the Jays.

Heat Sticking with the one word titles. Love the cat and mouse game here, the fact that it's De Niro vs. Pacino is just icing on the cake. The meeting in the coffee house is a great calm before the storm moment, and the gunfight after the robbery is so good. And, it's like 6 hours long, so it'll kill a lot of time if I'm stuck on an island.

Fargo Everything about this is awesome. I love Steve Buscemi, Frances McDormand, and especially William H. Macy. It's super quotable and one of the few movies that I'll stop and watch whenever it's on TV. Oh, and there was that lady who died looking for the briefcase a few years ago.
