I'm kind of confused by their choice of this quote by Judy Blume: So, basically, they're showing a quote that says censorship is a bad thing, yet their organization promotes it.
-
"Now they have the vegetarian Hot Pocket for those of us who don't want to eat meat, but still want Diarrhea."
-
The only reason I chose him was because there's no one else out there from a contending team who's having a great year. Normally, I agree with the fact that the MVP should come from a winning team, but there is no one this year on a team headed to the playoffs that deserves it.

"Hot Pocket. Sounds like a sexual disorder, doesn't it? Now look Bobby, sometimes, when fellas don't go on dates, they develop what we call a 'hot pocket'. Doesn't mean you're bad, it just means you need a girlfriend."
-
Well, apparently, there was one before the game. But, for whatever reason, Carlos Tosca didn't tell Halladay about it. Still a bullshit call, if you ask me.
-
Well, thanks for giving him to us.
-
The whole bullpen sucks, really, but he's probably one of the worst. No idea why he came in, he would have been one of my last choices.
-
Yeah, that was bullshit. And at least they could have put someone competent in after he left, too. He still has one start left against Cleveland, so he should win that one and get #22 there.

Shut up. I was close enough.

Delgado's got better numbers across the board as compared to A-Rod, and plays for a better team.

Me. -
The match wasn't bad, but the best part was that fan yelling at Test right at the beginning.
-
Well, it wasn't as great as your webiste, but it was still pretty good.

Unforgiven Results and early match ratings...

I liked the show OK. I didn't think any of the matches were horrible, but nothing was great, either. I was entertained through most of it. -
Well, Roy Halladay's going for his 22nd win (which would set a new franchise record) and is looking to extend his awesome September, so there is a little importance to this game, even if it's not relevant to any playoff chase.

Probably the Expos, due to their horrible ownership picture over the past several years. I hate to do it, but I'd have to pick them. At least most of the teams listed there have no arenas or stadiums either already built or on the way in the next few years. The Expos have some good players to build around, but you don't know if those guys are still going to be there in the next year or so (or even where the team is going to be) because they've been dicked around so badly.

I voted for you. I want you to win. -
The Blue Jays. JP Ricciardi definitely has his plan, and the only major part their likely to lose is Carlos Delgado, who I won't be happy to see go, but I realize that he's pretty replaceable for a lot less money than he's making right now. Pitching is their weak spot right now (outside of Halladay, for the most part, but Aquilino Lopez looks to be becoming a fine set-up man or even a closer), but they have a ton of outfielders either in the big leagues right now (like Vernon Wells or Reed Johnson) or in the minors who they'll be able to move to improve the pitching corps (except for Wells, he's not going anywhere). Ricciardi says he thinks they'll become legit contenders by '08, or so, but they've shown glimpses this year that they're pretty good already, so if they can keep up that pace for a whole year, they could be sneaking into the playoffs (or at least a late season pennant race) in the next year or so.

Fuck. You know I hate a team when they have me cheering for the BRAVES, of all teams.
-
Fuck. The Braves had better hope that Smoltz is VERY healthy once the playoffs start, since their bullpen is horrible.
-
10. A bit lower than I thought I'd be.

How should the NHL address its myriad of problems?

Yeah, but then you have players like Ichiro and Yao Ming in other sports coming in and being huge fan favourites, so I don't know how much water that theory holds. -
