Why would Batman be sad that the Joker is dead?

Questions to be answered by the next person to post in the thread

Probably. I think at least getting to the playoffs would have been enough to let them keep at least some of those players (maybe Larry Walker still leaves as a free agent, though). If they could have at least remained competitive for the next few years, they would have gotten a new stadium. Say Drew Bledsoe doesn't get hurt. How different is the Tom Brady/Patriots story? -
Yeah, I haven't been able to connect wirelessly yet, but I was more concerned with trying to fix the resolution issue. It's not a huge deal, though. Like I said, I'm not going to use it too much, just something to fuck around in to help me learn it.

Well, some messing around with it got me to 1024x768. Not perfect, but getting better.

Yeah, I just used it because that's the one that's what's set up in the lab at school, but I don't think it really matters. What's a better one you'd recommend?

I think he forgot to put a 'from' in there.

It's more because he was going to sign with them last year and then changed his mind. The fact that he sucks is a big part of it, though.

The Jays signed Rod Barajas for some reason. I don't get this at all, especially after what happened last year.

We should keep the stats the same. I didn't like it last year when they were changed after we put in our keepers, even though it didn't end up being a huge deal. I think there should be some limit on keepers, but I'm not too concerned about all the details. 3 years seems about right.

It was all in the timing. I looked over just in time to see it roll over and saw a puff of brown water.

I went to an aquarium in the summer. Highlight was seeing a seal take a shit.

How is that even possible?

Ha. "It's up to parent's to monitor what there kids see." "Yes it is, unfortunately" Also, the guy in the glasses is great with his explanation of the game he bought for his daughter and "Who can argue that Luke Skywalker meeting Debbie Does Dallas is a good thing?"

What's the best SFII game on the VC now?

The best movie ending I've ever seen is from a movie called 'The Takers' (I think). I only watched it because the description reminded me of an episode of the Simpsons (bikers move into a house, terrorize the people who live there), thinking they might have gotten some inspiration from the movie. It really wasn't anything like the episode (aside from the bikers), but it was still pretty good. Basically, the bikers follow these 2 women home, find out that the one girl's husband will be out of town for a week, and have their way with them. I guess the husband comes home early, though, finds all 4 of them sleeping in the same bed and shoots the bikers. Then he walks towards the camera, says his line, fucks it up and starts laughing. Every member of the crew then walks into the frame and start talking amongst themselves and with the cast. I wish I hadn't deleted it off my DVR.

I think after a movie has been out for a few weeks, we could probably get rid of them for discussion in that thread. You can get into a gray area there, though, if someone brings up the movie in another thread (like CTDWAT or the box office report) where someone wouldn't expect to read details about a certain movie. Personally, though, I try not to go into a thread about a new movie I'm interested in seeing if I haven't seen it yet. But for TV shows, I'd say it's fair game after it's been aired where the majority of people here would have seen it. Again, same deal as before, as this only applies to a specific thread about that show.

I hope so.

The best part, for me, was after the , some kid in the theatre yelled out, "That was fucked up" in the silence that followed. I'm not usually a big fan of people talking during movies, but pretty much everyone there was laughing at that.

This was really good. And they can easily make a franchise out of this if they want to. All they have to do is have a bunch of different perspectives of it with different groups of people in different parts of the city.

Slight bias here, but I'm not sure that they're better than the Jays. I can't see the Jays hitting being as bad as it was last season, although I'm not sure if their pitching will be as good with Eckstein at short as opposed to McDonald.

That's JP's favourite buzzword. He's used it more than once to describe Reed Johnson and I'm sure it will be repeated ad nauseum on Blue Jays telecasts all season.
