Oh my God, the Leafs suck. And the more I think about a Sundin trade and the more I think about what they could get back for him, the less I think it will happen, unless they fire JFJ (or, God forbid, sign him to an extension). He has no incentive to make the team better, since the only way he'll even be around next season is if the team makes the playoffs, which they won't do if they don't have Sundin. And if they do sign him to an extension and they do trade Sundin, he'll just turn around and flip whatever he gets for another goalie. Haha, it's 5-0 now and they didn't even bother updating the score on the XM display. Go Leafs.

I'm not sure what it was, but I found a fix for it.

There are Leafs fans everywhere. I really want them to trade Sundin, get a bunch of shit (who everyone in the media will say won't be enough, and it might not be) and then re-sign him in the off-season.

I got this new laptop last week (with Vista), and first time I tried to connect with my wireless router, it worked fine. Set up that it was my 'home' connection, and everthing. Since then, though, I might be connected, but it says that my connection status is unknown and it says 'Server execution failed' underneath that. It also takes forever to open the list of available wireless networks. Also, it takes forever for the Network and Sharing Center to open, and once it finally does, I can't do anything in it and I have to go into the Task Manager to close it. It also says Server execution failed in there, I assume where it tells me if I'm connected or not. I've tried un-installing and then re-installing the driver and that didn't do anything.

That could be an interesting list. Most famous games played at certain ballparks.

Maybe the game with the Shot Heard 'Round the World. I always wish I could have seen a game at the Polo Grounds and that seems like it would be the most famous one.

That was great hit by Hatcher. He was playing all kinds of pissed off. You have to admit, when they had the scrum in the first period Hatcher was a good guy and let Stajan (IIRC) off the hook. They were away from everyone, had the gloves dropped and Hatcher could have killed him, but just chuckled instead. I'm not saying that the hit was dirty, or would have been, because it wasn't. But Hatcher looked like he wanted to kill Steen there and it backfired. And with all the players that the Flyers have hurt this year, it's funny that they've moved onto their own.

You can't do what Downie did. It wasn't even a scrum anymore and it's not 'old time hockey' to poke someone in the eye when they can't defend themselves or even see it coming. Although, seeing the reaction of the women in the front row after it happened was hilarious. And I like that the Flyers trying to kill people sort of backfired on them with Lupol out for a while now.

Oh, I don't know if they've been decided yet.

Simpsons was a lot better on the first viewing. Once I saw it again and knew that jokes that were coming, I didn't enjoy it as much, which wasn't usually the case with the TV show.

Conan wins because I didn't think he had it in him to actually grow one.

I think one a year might be a little much, unless you want to hold them in smaller stadiums. Maybe every other year. The game actually drew decent ratings, too, on an NHL scale.

We can leave the outdoor game discussion in the December thread, though. Scott Clemmensen is starting for the Leafs tonight. I don't know if that's good or bad.

New Yankee Stadium. I remember they wanted to do a game at the old stadium, but there were concerns about the plumbing or something not working properly in the winter.

Only in Toronto can a team that's 2 points out of the playoffs with over 40 games to play be 'finished'.

If Toskala is going to be out for any length of time, the Leafs should just call up Pogge and have him play. Not that tonight has been all Raycroft's fault, but he's not helping.

He actually played alright after the first period, but he was awful before that.

It really is funny. I've been quoting it all week. It did really seem like a Will Ferrell movie, though. And I like John C. Reilly, but it felt like he was doing a Ferrell impression at some points.
