I can't be too mad at Blake, he pretty much set up Sundin's goal on his own and got them an extra point. And I guess I was wrong about Ferguson. And Matthew Barnaby is awful here on TSN.

The best part was reading Maurice's lips. But anyway, I figure JFJ's gone sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Forget the GM, fire the zamboni driver.
  8. I've decided I'm never going to watch Wicker Man again. Seeing it in the theatre was such a great experience, I won't be able to top it.

    Journeyman...

I understand why they did it, but they kind of blew their wad early the Dan/Jack stuff. That was the best dynamic on the show and now it's gone. Of course, the show may be gone, too.

Firing Maurice would be stupid. Just fire JFJ now, since there's no way they'll bring him back next year, anyway, bring in a replacement and blow up this year.

NFL week twelve: Turkey Day Cliches

Ha, yeah. The World Jr. team had a nice rotation of horsefaced French goalies for a few years with him and Fleury. And I don't know if it's because they play the games on Sens PPV at the movie theatre in town, but Cogeco didn't offer the games last year. And because it was technically on in the Sens region, you couldn't watch the game on Centre Ice, either. I don't know if that's still the case this year, though.

Do you have a close relationship with your family?

Pretty much get along fine with everyone. My 2 brothers and I get along great, for the most part. My mom can piss me off from time to time, but I figure that's normal, and my dad can be one of the most annoying people on the planet, but that's ok. Dinner with my family usually involves my dad saying something stupid and my brothers and I making fun of him for it and quoting some TV show or movie while my mom shakes her head. Good times. The furthest away anyone on my dad's side lives is Montreal, which is only 2 hours, so I see everyone fairly often. There are a few people who annoy me, but not enough to dislike them or anything. On my mom's side, both grandparents are dead and my mom really only talks to her one sister. There's about a 10-year difference between her and her other sister, and I don't think they've ever really gotten along and they barely talk anymore other than in short e-mails. She's moving out east soon, so that contact will probably be even less frequent after that. I only have 4 cousins (2 on each side) and I'm 5 years younger than the youngest on my dad's side and 7 years older than the oldest on my mom's side, so I was never great friends with any of them, but I get along fine with all of them. One of them on my mom's side is autistic or something, so it's hard to have any kind of relationship with her, though.

    Journeyman...

I thought they would at least keep it around and air all the episodes they've filmed, although I guess they can save them and burn them off in a few months if the writers strike keeps going. It's about the only new show I've kept watching (although I have started watching Chuck in the past few weeks), so I hope it stays. And it's got Chappelle from 24 being a douche, how can you not love it?

    NFL WEEK ELEVEN- Proving grounds.

You can't whine about the refs making the right call. They had no right to change the call to make it right though because the play was not reviewable. Completely ignoring the rules of reviewability is a bigger issue then them blowing the call and making it right..I dont know how many times the Ravens have been denied challenges because a play wasn't reviewable...and yet here they just went ahead and did it. If the play was reviewable..Id have no problem in the world with what happened because yeah, the FG was obviously good. But its just like when a team is out of TO's and can't challenge and the refs screw up a call..it can't be reviewed and the refs aren't going to debate it for 10 minutes and change the call. I mean, the coach spending a lot of time complaining about something where the refs obviously made the right call reflects poorly on the coach. And the team as a whole, really.

At least they've got a decent player now who can take some ABs from McDonald at short and can fill in for Glaus when he gets hurt eventually.

    Guitar Hero.

I haven't been able to find this for the Wii anywhere. In fact, I've only seen one non-PS2/360 copy anywhere, a PS3 one with a ripped box in a pile at Wal-Mart. I callled the local EB and asked them, and the guy made it seem like they haven't gotten any copies in for it at all yet.

    Box Office Report...

I was the only one in the theatre when I saw Children of Men. A little surprising, since it was cheap night, even though it was the late showing.
