    Food Signage and Labels

I think our Pizza Hut still has the old logo on the sign, but Harvey's and Burger King changed a few years back. Although, last time I checked, the napkins at the BK still have the old logo embossed on them. We have a Tim Hortons that used to be a Taco Bell, but it was a newer building, so it didn't have the distinctive look that most old Taco Bells on that page have. Speaking of Tim Hortons, we have 6 now, for like 20,000 people. Our Wal-Mart has a Tim Hortons AND a McDonalds.

Anyone else catch that rumour about Glenn Healy maybe being the next Leafs GM? Sounds crazy enough to be true.

I know it's a bit cheesy, but I loved Michael cutting his pant legs and sleeves off and then taping them back on later on.

    Radiothread

Okay, this makes no sense to me. If you A: Don't like regular radio, and B: Don't really wanna pay for satellite, why would you buy a satellite radio that functions as an MP3 player, when you could've just bought *an MP3 player*, put a bunch of music on it, and listened to THAT? I generally don't give a rat's ass about the radio. We have one popular music station, one alleged classic rock station that plays half the stuff that's on the fucking other channel, and a real classic rock station. That's it. Because with an mp3 player, I can't listen to live Opie and Anthony or Ron and Fez. Spend $100 and get an Inno. You can set the Inno to record both shows and listen to them whenever, or live on the go if you have the antenna headphones. The MP3 "function" isn't as much for your MP3 collection as it is recording stuff to listen to later.. The only good thing about the suposed XM/Sirus merger is that its pretty much halted new receivers coming out, at least on the XM side, the Inno has been out for well over a year and its the best portable XM receiver there is. The inno is a good deal for $100. I have recorded about 150 songs off XM and its only at 33% on 50/50 mode. My favorite Channel for music is Lucy. Around here, there are about 50 country stations and nothing else so I had to get XM..and I can listen to my inno at work (in recorded mode, not live since the building blocks the XM signal) but being able to listen to O&A with my headphones on and I bust out laughing for no reason makes it worth it, I couldn't get through a 12 hour shift at work without it.

I think this makes the Sens 0-2-2 in games I've been to. I should go more often.

    NHL Thread - November 2007

Someone on TSN brought up that if he hadn't been "ERIC LINDROS" coming into the league with all the hype of being 'The Next One', it might be easier to see him as a HOFer. I don't know, I think I'm on the fence about it. Re: hockey in Nashville. I don't even see the point anymore. It doesn't do the league any good to have a team that doesn't draw well in a market like that. It'd be one thing is they were successful off-the-ice and selling a lot of tickets, but they're the BUTT-end of a lot of jokes (how often do you hear a sportscaster joke about there being a team in *random southern city*?), which is too bad. I understand that the league wants American teams to draw American TV ratings, but is having a team from Nashville play on NBC going to be any worse than having a team from Winnipeg or Hamilton play on there? There are too many teams now that just exist to fill dates in arenas.

Every station I can pick up here sucks. Or, at least it's not something I'd spend any length of time listening to. 2 rock stations that play pretty much the same thing, 2 classic rock stations that play pretty much the same thing, 2 BOB stations (and maybe a JACK and a JOE, too), a few easy listening station, and there has to be at least 4 or 5 country stations. AM is even worse, as I can't listen to anything close-by, really, at night. So I have XM and bring that with me in the car if I'm going to be in there for any longer than 10 minutes or so.

I missed the game. And even then, I like to keep my mouth shut, since I know the next Leafs' embarrasment is likely just around the corner. See! No more power-plays, please.

Last time I got really cocky was after last year's last game and we know how that ended. Even though I still do get bragging rights. Also, I have less Leafs fans as back-up, living as close to Ottawa (and Montreal) as I do.

I really don't think the new arena is too small from an attendance standpoint. The Jets never drew that well and after the initial excitement of getting a new team, I think around 15000 would be fine. Maybe they can add some standing-room areas in there. I don't know what the luxury box situation is there, though.

    30 Rock

I can understand why they needed to do flashback episodes last season, with Pressly being pregnant, but I think they can cut it out now. Speaking of that, when is Joy going to crank out that kid?

Thankfully it didn't really make a huge difference in the game (unless you want to argue about momentum), but that 'tripping' call against Briere was awful.

I think it's been pretty good this season, but I really don't like these Cops episodes. Really, none of the flashback episodes they've done over the past 2 seasons are that great compared to the regular ones.

Yeah, I've noticed that. When they first traded for him, everyone was saying he was awful but I never really saw it once I started watching him play everday. I knew he was never going to be a Gold Glover, but he never really seemed to be hurting the team with his defence.
