Need to see the 2nd page of that. I can make out that the marker wrote 'WOW' on the back.

The episode of Married... With Children that was just on CMT had Giovanni Ribisi (credited as 'Vonni') and one of the girls from Good Morning Miss Bliss on it.

I was just watching the 1986-87 season review on the NHL Network (which I get now, for some reason) and had to laugh when Jacques Demers looked like he was reading notes during his acceptance speech when he won the Jack Adams.

I don't think they sell cars with cruise control in Quebec.

30 Rock is usually pretty good, but it's about 90% due to Alec Baldwin.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?i...ce=MLBHeadlines That could be great.

Disscussions weren't made until the the late 1990s.

If I remember the Crosby thing, it's that they would have wanted him to play for the Marlies if the lockout went another season, since he would be eligible to be pro, anyway. And for Tavares, it would just be to play for the Marlies and he would still go into the draft the next season. I guess there are some people who think they want to use it to make Tavares pull a power-play and say he'll only play for the Leafs when he's draft-eligible, but I think it's just to make some money off of the Marlies. Really, he should be going into the next draft, but they won't change the rules for him. Playing in the OHL another year will do nothing for him, too.

I can see them not voting for McDonald because he didn't play every day for a good chunk of the season (he was really only the #1 guy from July until he was hurt at the end of the season), but then I think of Palmerio winning at 1B when he played like 3 games there.
-
Hill won't win because he had that bad series in New York towards the end of the year. And I don't know if anyone's better at SS than McDonald, but Derek Jeter needs to win something, dammit.

Thanks for the heads up...I'm definitely going to the Montreal show. Ottawa tickets just went on sale and I'm right in the front row.

The Birds isn't even that great, anyway.

I like those commercials way more than anyone should. They have a bunch of them on YouTube, too, that I've never seen on TV before. It's great! I'm the same way, and so is my grandfather, as I learned during the Jays-Yankees series early this week. Let's not analyse. IT TURNS OUT, by the way, that he actually said the uncle was eaten whilst in Trindad & Tobago, not Jamaica. My native rule applies, but I impressed that upon my brother yesterday, and he didn't care, but did say he liked those commercials as well. You may, in effect, be off the hook. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5208834547&ref=mf

CKWS is different from other CBC affiliates. According to it's Wikipedia entry, it only has to show 40% of regular CBC programming and is generally just really low budget, especially the local news. I would watch it before, because my cable company is ass and for some reason, it would come in clearer than the Ottawa affiliate (which, on some TVs in the house, would sometimes not even come in in colour).

Jim Gaffigan added some Canadian tour dates, finally. No way I'm missing the Ottawa show.
-
Well, yeah, I hardly watch it anymore now that I've got HD. But they did show Happy Days for a while a few years ago.
-
I get the Kingston and Ottawa CBC feeds in SD, and Kingston always shows the Toronto game.
-
Thankfully (or maybe not), my CBC HD affiliate is from Toronto.

I'm such an awful golfer, I try and take pride in how bad I am. For instance, in the summer, I was golfing with a bunch of people, mostly my dad's age since he was the one who organized everything. Anyway, it was the only time I played all year and was just generally terrible, especially on the back 9. On the 18th, I hit it into the sand just off the green, but couldn't get it over the half-inch lip and out of the bunker. I took 3 'shots', all while my uncle's friend (who is equally as bad as me) was giving me tips. I eventually just wound up and hit it over the green and over the fence behind the green, onto the road that drove by the course, I might have even hit a car. I was done then, I didn't think anything would top my walk-off home run.

Nik Antropov has 6 goals and four consecutive two-point games. The end is near.

Clemens was a trade.

Bedard in Toronto would be nice, especially since Burnett will probably opt out after next season, unless his arm falls off (which is entirely possible).

"Borderline artistic" was great. I also liked the Planet Terror knock-off music during Catalina's dancing.

The first half wasn't anything special, but the the last half hour was really good. "Where is this train taking us?" "I think the engineer left."
