Those 'My NHL' commercials they played last season were stupid. Rather than use actual players, they used actors in those generic NHL sweaters. I can understand if they didn't want to use Crosby and Ovechkin before they had even played an actual game in the league, but there are other players. There are some better ones I've seen this season. The bachelor party waiting for the Swedish twins and the Sedins come in and start dancing is kind of funny. They really should try and buy more ad time on NBC.

I guess it's Leena's pick now, but I'm not sure if she quit or not.

I think I was beating Ripper at one point, but then he went on a big run and pulled away from me. I made it close at the end, though. It was like basketball, so I guess I was at a disadvantage.

The XM show is usually pretty good, but I can't say anything about the Free FM one. And they are funny. They talk about Dave all the time because Dave is an idiot.

The '85 Jays won't, unless you count Bobby Cox.

Of course, this had to happen on the anniversary of the Bertuzzi/Moore thing.

Sens outplayed the Leafs tonight and deserved to win, but man, if the Leafs had a few bounces go their way in the first half of the game when it was still close it would have been a different story. I guess as long as they play outside of the province, they're ok.

Yeah, a lot of people do after his shoulder surgery. Of course, a lot of people thought he'd bounce back last year, too, and that didn't happen.

I'm not sure that the Leafs could beat Buffalo, but I think they could take them at least 6 games. They wouldn't be a "nice quick sweep to open up the playoffs".

Does anyone know how much of a difference PS2 component cables make on a regular TV? The TV has YCbCr inputs.

I'm really looking forward to this, but I think I'll wait until it's on TV. I don't think Canadians can watch stuff through NBC.com, anyway. What show is this taking off of Thursdays? I assume it's 30 Rock, but is it just temporary?

Anyone catch Martin Gerber hacking Chris Phillips finger on the bench? The best was the reaction of the guy sitting next to Phillips (not sure who it was). I laughed.

Actually, we made a lot of Newport packs. Every once in a while there'd be a big 100+ pallet order of them. I think they were running some last night, too.

I'd like that, too, but it'd be tough to get everyone together at once. Worth a shot, though.

It was alright. I like the interaction between Corddry and the kid, but there weren't many laughs and they weren't very big. I feel bad for Corddry, too, since everyone else from his time on the Daily Show is off doing critically acclaimed stuff (Carell and Helms on the Office and Colbert doing the Colbert Report) while he's doing a show that probably won't last.

I got laid-off from my shitty job of working at a printing plant making cigarette packages. The pay was good, though.

The Leafs got a big shootout win in Jersey. I just hope Tomas Kaberle isn't dead.

Adam Lind at 39 seems about right, I guess. He might get held back a bit, since it doesn't seem like he has a position to play. DH is taken with Thomas (assuming he stays healthy *crosses fingers*) and he's not supposed to be very good defensively in LF. Moving him to 1B doesn't make sense, either, because Overbay's locked up for a few more years.
