Hey, the Leafs got a point tonight!
-
Should be a GREAT game on Saturday then!
-
Gotta support the team.

Nobody would wear 66, anyway.

I think it's hard to judge him by this season. They went for it all last season (since they had to) and that put them in a bad position going into the 'new' NHL. At the start of the season, most people thought they would be a middling team on the fringe of the playoffs and that's where they are right now. It's highlighted by the fact that they've lost 5 in a row (probably 6 pretty soon), but they're doing what they were expected to do by most people. They should have a nice bit of room under the cap going into next year and some good young players already up (Steen, Stajan, Wellwood, Coliacovo) so the future looks decent.

I've got to work all night. I'm thinking that'll be a good thing.

I really doubt there's anyway he gets fired before the Olympics. I really doubt there's anyway he gets fired, period, but I can't see anything like that happening before the Olympics.

I didn't know who he was until I read an interview of his saying something along the lines of how he didn't like comedy, which made me scratch my head when I heard he was hosting SNL. The SARS guard thing was a funny concept, but sucked in execution. And I liked the pirate sketch.

Yeah, this is pretty fucking pathetic. And Belfour's playing pretty well, that's the worst part. 7-0 now, great.
-
Good: -Joe Carter's HR -Leafs sweeping Sens in 2001 -Joe Nieuwendyk's 2 goals against Lalime in game 7 in '04 Bad: -Roenick's OT goal against the Leafs in the 2nd round in '04, especially since it came right after that huge hit by Tucker and a Leafs' scoring chance -The Leafs playing like shit against Ottawa this season, it's pretty pathetic.

Shit, I forgot about Michael singing 'Our Lips Are Sealed' and saying it was by the Bangles. Not quite as funny as 'Raging Bull, Pacino', but still pretty good stuff.
-
Pretty good episode. I liked how Dwight was oblivious to Oscar being gay and was just pre-occupied with how proud he was that he caught him faking being sick.

I don't think that the guy Jack's wife hooked up with could be Desmond, since he probably would have already left for the race around the world. I wouldn't be surprised if it's someone else from the show, though (my money's on Boone).

They've sucked against the West this season, won only something like 2 games. But, they're done playing outside the conference so hopefully that'll help. I hope McCabe's not out much longer, too.

according to the previews.

Yeah, it was mostly the Labyrinth Zone, coupled with the fact that I found it hard to pick up extra lives (as opposed to the later games). I only had about 3 and would have been toast without being able to save and go back.
-
I had never played all the way through the first game before I picked this up, and it is hard. I wouldn't have been able to beat it if I hadn't been able to save wherever.

He always seems to have an extra space at the top of his posts.

He was on Jeopardy a few years ago.

A few more theories from the genius that is Dwight Schrute:
-
'He uses so much toilet paper since he's full of crap! Yeth!'

The first round of the hockey playoffs are pretty much my favourite time of year, sports or not. The start of the baseball season on top of that is icing on the cake.
-
The Lindros injury could be ok, since that would mean his asking price for next year would be low, too. Fuck, that guy's made of fucking glass.

The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread
treble replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
One thing I wish they would have done, which I think could have been pretty funny, would to have been to explain all the George-Michael/Maeby stuff when he went to smell her hair. Howard's narration would have put it over the top with him explaining (pretty much) everything they've been through and how stupid it really is, and I think it would have gone pretty well with the reference that no one got.
