Comments that don't warrant a thread

Triple Play '99 took up 14 of the 15 blocks on a PS1 memory card.

    The NHL Thread

Hurting McCabe is his bad +/-, but I think he might make the team just for his play on the PP. Quinn's obviously going to put in a good word for him.

    2005-2006 MLB Offseason thread

This doesn't seem right. He was probably the Jays' best starter all of last season because Halladay got hurt. He doesn't walk a lot, but gives up a lot of hits and this seems dumb based on one good season.

    I HEAR COYOTES

It's George Sr. locked in the attic.

    LOST

I was thinking along those lines, too. And was that the first episode without either Jack (except for those 2 seconds in the flashback) and/or Kate?

    LOST

That episode was kinda meh until that ending. Got goosebumps, I loved it.

    It's my 23rd birthday!

Lou Piniella. Not quite as crazy as he is, though.

    My Name Is Earl

Loved the music from Midnight Cowboy during the bus scene.

    Free Agent Guessing Game

Is Delgado seriously on the block? That's funny. And, like I said in the off-season thread, the Jays have said they won't be outbid for Burnett, and since they've got about $20 million or so to spend they're probably willing to go pretty high.

    2005-2006 MLB Offseason thread

I don't think the Jays are going to be outbid for Burnett, unless it gets really crazy.

The OaO Arrested Development Season 3 thread

Again, it's a really hard show to watch with someone who's only seen bits and pieces of it. Trying to explain who's who is a pain in the ass, and when I yelled out 'ANNYONG!' my friend thought I was crazy. Loved the Godfather parody and the Ben Johnson bit.

    Favorite South Park episode

No one mentioned 'Christian Rock Hard'.

    The Office, Season Two

Dwight whiting out the 'TO THE' on his business card was awesome.

    Theo Epstein leaves Red Sox

The Sox already tried to get Riccardi a few years ago (after his first year in Toronto, when they ended up hiring Epstein). I really doubt they'd let him go now.

Well, the Leafs bounced back from Saturday's disaster and giving up a goal less than 30 seconds in to beat the Panthers 2-1. Just caught some of the highlights and the winner looked pretty weak, so they probably lucked out that Luongo didn't start tonight.

    SNL Review

Eh, I liked Lance singing and the O'Reilly Factor, but that's about it. Wasn't a bad show, though, a lot better than I figured it would be based on the past few athletes who've hosted. Nothing too horrible (outside of maybe the Carol sketch, but that wasn't Armstrong's fault), just a bunch of stuff was that was just there.

Fuck. 8-0 now. What a fucking joke.

    World Series-Astros vs White Sox

Me, but I wish I had been old enough to appreciate it, though. You don't really understand the impact and how tough it is to win it all when you're 9 and 10.

    Santa's Slay...

It's weird hearing Claire from Lost talk without her accent.

    Comedy Central late night

Colbert Report's pretty good, but hopefully he stops tripping over his words soon. I don't know why he keeps doing that, it's not like he's never been on TV before and I don't remember him ever having that problem doing stuff like 'This Week in God'. I like The Word, but there's sometimes too much going on and it can be hard to follow what he's saying and the captions on the side of the screen. The interview with the Georgia Senator was pretty good, too.

I'm feeling good about the Leafs so far this year. Ottawa's really beating up almost everyone else they play, and the Leafs took them to 2 shootouts before losing, plus their only regulation loss was by 1 goal to a Montreal team that hasn't lost on the road yet. And 3 straight wins in nice, too, especially 2 of them against good teams like Philly and the Habs. Hopefully they can keep it up and Belfour stays healthy, since they probably don't win tonight without him.

According to the headline on TSN.ca, Brett Hull is going to retire today. He was always one of my favourite players, so it sucks to see him go, but I hope he catches on with either CBC or TSN as an analyst, since he's been awesome whenever he's been on between periods before.
