I pretty much always picture that.

Awesome, thanks a lot.

Anyone know a place where I could get Benoit/Austin from SD in Edmonton in '01? Thanks.

There, I think it's fixed now.

Wow, go Jays bullpen.

Shut up! -
That was funny. Seeing them all stand there and all of a sudden they all realize that the ball's going to drop in, so Martinez dives for it.

This is fucking annoying. Everytime Alex Rios comes to bat, whatever channel the game's on, whoever the announcers are, they ALWAYS have to mention that he's only hit 1 homer in his career. I'm not quite sure why it matters, but they have to bring it up every fucking time. Exciting game tonight, even if the outcome wasn't what I would have liked. Always have to get my hopes up a little bit at the end.

Alright guys, you're queering up 3 threads now. Give it a rest, since it's already incredibly lame and getting lamer by the post. -
If you're ever here, look me up. I can't promise you a place to sleep, though.

Czech Republic has an unhealthy obsession with Bob Barron.

Pretty sure that Nina's toast, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sherry's still kicking around somewhere.

Even in that game, he was *this close* to striking out Bellhorn, Myers (I think it was him catching) dropped a foul tip that would have ended the game before the Red Sox came back.

'Shock and Aww'. Obviously there's some past references in there, but I think it would stand alone on it's own. Plus, Annyong's debut.

Henry Winkler needs some kind of award for playing Barry. So awesome. "Are those balls? Because, last time we were here, they were balls" "Ah, I wish they were balls"

"Tell GOB I've not a nice, hard cot with his name on it" "You'd do that to your own brother?" "I said 'cot'"

Pretty much just my fingers and my 3 middle toes on both feet. After I broke my leg a few years ago, my knee would crack everytime I moved it once the cast came off. That went away after a few months, but it'll still crack every once in a while. Anything else that cracks is by accident.

Gustavo Chacin. Pitched mostly in AA last year, but was called up in September and pitched well in 2 starts (winning in Yankee Stadium in his first one) and made the team in spring training when they put Batista in the bullpen and cut Billy Koch.
-
Shit, I wonder how often this has happened. Reed Johnson is hit by a pitch for the 3rd time today (which is a franchise record), and the 2nd time with the bases loaded. Oh, and case in point, Wells stikes out with the bases loaded (after grounding into a double play last time he was up in the same situation). Koskie did single in 2 runs, though, so it's not all bad. 7-0 in the 8th, and I'm really pissed now that I 'forgot' to start Chacin in the H2H fantasy league.
-
The Jays are doing awesome and everything, but I've never seen a team that's doing well have so many rallies die when the 3 and 4 hitters come up. Thankfully, everyone else is picking up the slack now, but Wells and Koskie have been horrible so far this year. 3-0 in Texas right now in the 6th and Chacin has been doing really well again.

"Best of Walker Texas Ranger clips on Conan"
treble replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
He did show up there a few months back. Conan was about to pull the lever and then got 'shot' in the hand. They panned up to the top of the crowd and Norris was standing there. I think he pulled his own lever and showed this clip of him beating up Conan in the hallway at the studio, complete with Conan going flying through a big wall of cardboard boxes. -

Awesome. Best ones are probably where he gets shot proposing or where the dad from the Wonder Years gets the kid to jump down from the ladder. -
Gary Bettman and Bob Goodenow are GREAT!
