Although it's also not good to like a movie just because it's a classic. "Nothing Sacred" is considered a classic and I thought it was complete shit. Still, yes, a lot of the time they're classics for a reason.

A lot of people I know who watch horror movies for gore are the same people who complain about big hollywood blockbusters being all about special effects. What the fuck do they think gore is?

Since Toshiro Mifune was taken, I'll pick my OTHER favorite Japanese actor. Tadanobu Asano I saw Ichi the Killer, Bright Future, and Last Life in the Universe, and didn't realize it was the same guy in all of them until I looked it up on IMDB. Fantastic actor, one of my favorite around right now.

I'd say I like them alright, but given recent developments in the thread, that probably means nothing.

The Night and the City distinction isn't necessary, since the De Niro version was about boxing, not wrestling. And this probably WILL be the best wrestling movie since that. Hell, I'm even open to the possibility of it being better.
