Dave Meltzer! :-p Blue Meanie posts on it, at least the last I heard he did.

James Beard is really deserving of a job in WWE. He's a great ref (his spot in the RAW match where he used the SS megaphone to tell them to leave ringside was just about the highlight of the match), and really knows how to do his job, so I sure hope that he isn't hurting his chances by what he's posting in the following thread: http://wrestlingclassics.com/.ubb/ultimate...ic;f=1;t=068927 He continues on about the Shannon Moore/CW match: And then later in the thread he posts: So he points out that if hired, he would be much more discreet concerning WWE issues, yet he goes on talking about all of this before he's even hired? I don't think it's a big deal, but you just know that some people in WWE could get pissed off about all of this, and it could even cost the guy a job. On a side note, I'm really really happy about Scott Armstrong getting a job in WWE/ECW. Many of you might not care, but it's really cool news to me.

From PWInsider: [qutoe]After ECW on Sci Fi went off the air, Big Show and Batista, standing on opposite sides of the ring on the floor pointed at each other and teased getting in the ring, as the fans booed the. They entered the ring, went face to face, and then smiled at each other. They shook hands and hugged while fans threw garbage at them. Show and Batista then walked around ringside, giving high fives to some fans, while others threw garbage and cursed them out. There definitely was a split reaction to them from the crowd. Before finally exiting, Big Show picked up the microphone and said "Seriously guys, from the bottom of my heart ... you can all kiss my ass". Fit Finlay and Simon Dean were backstage at the show. Diva Search contestant Rebecca (who was eliminated yesterday) was sitting in one of the balconies. The crowd was a mix of old-school ECW fans who weren't going to give any "WWE guys" a chance, and WWE fans who reacted positively to the Smackdown stars on the show.

You don't get it, it's funny. It's ECW fans, wanting to cheer for ECW. They cheer the old ECW guys, guys like Punk who have no ties to WWE, and even Angle since he's just so fucking good. They book TBS and Batista because they stand for what WWE is all about, and even more so their match as a whole. They book Kendrick/London because they're the WWE Smackdown TAG TEAM CHAMPS, they are totally WWE. They were booing where they are from, WWE, not the workers. My God.

I'd continue to push TBS, and expend the "new" vs. "original" ECW feud. Maybe keep TBS as champ for another month or two, and really have a slow build. A slower build will really put over whoever it is that finally beats the guy, and that's the way it should be. Then from there, then start the big build to the ECW PPV, involving RVD/Sabu/Angle, and other guys like that.

TBS dealt with it just fine, but Batista, man what a tool tonight.
-
Calm down, douchebag. Why is it a bunch of garbage? The crowd interation is what ECW has always been about. If they don't like what they see they let you know. Refreshing, says I. Not like the sheeple who go to Raw or Smackdown. Fantastic stuff, these chants. "Change the Channel"=ratings....wait... Not to mention that part of the main storyline in ECW right now is WWE vs. ECW, or rather Paul Heyman and his group of "new ECW" guys vs. old ECW originals. This fan reaction should be played off of, and spotlighted in this main feud. If you don't think it was cool how the fans changed from TBS/Batista (WWE/new ECW) to Sabu (ECW original), then I don't know what to say. Seems to me like some of you totally missed the fucking point, and instead want a straight up RAW or SD.

From PWInsider:

Batista didn't know how to deal with that crowd at all, and he came off like a big douche because of it. Playing to the crowd, etc... He also got booked like a piece of crap in the match, for the most part. I loved seeing the fans totally shit on the match, booing all that is WWE, then accepting Sabu as always, chanting "ECW", as if they were seeing the old ECW destroy WWE right before their eyes. Great, great stuff tonight, I loved it.

Because it would be fun as hell to be there right now...
-
That is just awesome. Even more shocking is that Tazz mentioned it!
-
*commercials end* "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" Fantastic.
-
"You both suck!"?
-
I like how the fans totally backed down when Batista stopped and looked at them pissed off like.
-
I hope to God that Booker doesn't drop the title at Summerslam to Batista because of Boogeyman.
-
How old is the BB anyway?
-
You're thinking of HHH and Candice.
-
Why did Tazz start to suck so badly after starting on this ECW show?
-
Well it's about damn time.
-
I didn't have a single problem with that first match. They even used Test/Knox decently in that match. Sandman was, well, Sandman, and Dreamer did his thing as always. Now let's just keep this show going.
-
What good reason do they have not to have Francine be with Dreamer/Sandman?
-
I'm in for Punk/Roadkill.

Mike Johnson from PWInsider was at RAW last night, and he is saying that AAE was one of the most over guys on the entire RAW/SD Supershow, and that he took a shuttle bus to the arena, and along the way he heard numerous fans spouting off his "line".
