Oh man, that Khali/Festus interaction was great. Just the way Festus took the big chop, I loved it.
-
That right there, so simple when it really comes down to it, is what the wrestling industry has been missing for the past good many years.
-
This is fantastic. No way in hell do I want to see Flair lose now, heh. I guess their build for me is working.
-
I was actually going to ask what it is about Khali that seems "different". I can't put my finger on it.

Yeah, the last time WalMart had a special WWE DVD display they had a bunch of really good ones. I think the Chris Benoit DVD was just $3.xx or something like that. Whoever bought a bunch to unload later on, and held on to them for a good while, likely did well on eBay last year.
-
For what it's worth, I don't believe the WalMart stores in the USA have the WM sets at that price. I'm pretty sure it's just for our neighbors in the north. I really hope that I'm either wrong, or that it'll change in the near future. I waited too long to get the big set, and if I can get the individual sets that cheap, I'll be all over it.

I thought the thread title was "Korea files lawsuit against TNA" and I was really confused by that news. Anyway, this will be a very interesting story to follow no mater who comes out on top.
-
Thanks for the news bits, I've been thinking about signing up myself. And don't forget that you can pick up the top three DVDs listed (the box set versions) at Best Buy for just $12.99 each.

They also had the two start the RR this year didn't they?
-
I say have no title involved, no stips or anything. Just those two having one hell of a match at WM for the first, and likely last, time ever against one another. You could go a lot of different ways with the match, buildup, booking and all of that. Has this actually already been rumored to happen next year?
-
Oh shit, I totally forgot about that. They've gotta do that match next year since that's the case.

How huge could a Taker/HBK match at a future WM be? You would have the guy who claims to be Mr. Wrestlemaia, the guy who will likely still have the streak, and they could also really focus on the fact that both of them have been with the company for close to 20 years, longer than any other active workers. Not to mention that the match has never taken place at WM before, and many people have really wanted to see them go at it once again. Just a though, sounds good to me.

I can't put into words just how much I hate the new Maria.

Nice sell by Striker there.
-
They should have a helicopter hover above the ring with the briefcase hanging from a chain.

I must admit, after all that talk about Stevie on ECW over the past month or two, seeing Khali beat him so quickly just made me crack up.
-
That opener was a fun, fun match. Holy crap at the moonsault with the trashcan by Morrison!
-
I think we've already booked how this will go down far better than whatever WWE will actually come up with.
-
Let's say they do something like that, MVP or whoever runs in and nails TBS with a chair or something. Do you have MVP just pull Mayweather on top of TBS, or do you book it where MVP gets TBS down to his knees and then allow a confused Mayweather to land the final blow leading to the pin? If they do the "pull Mayweather on top" spot, it makes him look weak, but then again will TBS still look strong if he is knocked out by Mayweather even after taking a beating from someone else?
-
That's a great idea Hawk. Without thinking it through, the first two that popped into my head for some reason were Ken Kennedy and MVP.

Here is an AP report: The guy is selling the "injury" in public, and the press is buying it.
-
I'm a huge Hardy fan, have been for many years now, but if I were in charge at WWE I'd be thinking about cutting ties with the guy once and for all. Not just because of him screwing up current plans, not because he keeps screwing up his rise to the top, but because he is the sort of guy who will attract the bad type of press that WWE most certainly does not need these days. Not to mention that it would be very, very bad if he ended up dying on WWE's watch. I just don't think the guy is worth it. He's over in a big way, he's just about the to the top, but he comes with far too much baggage. He's had chance after chance to prove that he can straighten up and he fails each and every time. I really hate to hear this news, and I hate to talk like this about the guy, but it's the truth.
