As far as I'm concerned, if you haven't seen the uncut international version of Léon, then you haven't seen the movie period.

D'oh, you're right. I can picture their doing it though, had WWE Films not started up. Holy shit is Lashley horrible on the stick or what? That was just...wow, that was worse than almost anyone else. -

Anyone else shocked that we haven't seen WWE or TNA bring in Jack Black, mask and all? -

Son of a bitch how I wish these two could just have a match every week. -

I've been reading reports of Deep South have have been saying that The Great Khali is over huge as a face down there. I'd love to see some of that footage. I'm not quite sure what I think about Miz yet, but I have a feeling that I'll want to beat him with a shovel before too long. Hell, I pretty much already do. -
I like how on the ECW website in the title history section, they have the last part of it as: http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/history/4294681/ Rhyno The Sandman New York, NY 01-07-01 The Sandman Steve Corino New York, NY 01-07-01 That's a convenient "mistake". The Sandman d. Steve Corino should be above above Rhyno d. The Sandman. Who know's if this is on purpose, but for what it's worth they do correctly list Rhyno as the last ever ECW TV champ. Maybe they saw this as an easy "mistake" to make since the two world title matches took place on the same day, and thought no one would care/remember.

That extended version of Robocop is also in that solid, and cheap, Robocop trilogy set that was released, so no need to track down the Criterion release for that reason alone.

It's pointless and does nothing at all to change the movie. The only difference is that the scene with the two prostitutes have a few extra camera shots:

After seeing that Giant Gonzales clip with the Harts, I have to say that he is far better than the Great Khali. Can you believe it?

In a recent PWInsider audio report they said that a personal issue has caused a falling out between Cole and Tazz and they are no longer legit friends as they have been for so long in the past. Do any of you know anything about this?

Unbelievable Warner Brothers Box Set Sales at Sam's Club
Downhome replied to DMann2003's topic in Television & Film
I just called my local Sam's Club and the sale is going on there also. You guys only buy one set, you've gotta pick up that Film Noir set, it's fantastic. Thanks for the news. -
One of my favorites is Léon (The Professional). I wouldn't say that the "DC highly improved the films by a mile fold" for everything you have listed. For some of them, yeah, but not all of them. Another really good one is Almost Famous.

I'm a HHH fan and even I enjoyed watching the Spirit Squad slap him around on the ground as he retreated like a little bitch.

I prefer that too. As I said, it's just that this week it was written in such a manner that I was going to write just as much if I paraphrased, and I decided to copy it all. If I post the WWE news next week, I'll go back to paraphrasing. HTQ, I know you well enough to know that you know that it's not worth getting pulled into this type of bullshit discussion. Just continue to do what you're doing, I'll continue posting the bits I get from PWInsider, Joe Blow will continue posting whatever shit they find, and let's call it a day.

Ah, I guess that's what I'm thinking. Just heard on PWInsider that SciFi/NBC - Universal has requested, and is pressing very hard, for WWE to add "supernatural elements" to the ECW brand, mentioning aliens and vampires. As of right now, WWE is resisting these requests. This could get very, very interesting. The logic is said to be that the people at SciFi are trying to get this done to keep all of their hardcore fans happy since there has been something of a backlash after it was announced that ECW was going to air on the channel. Also, again, this is only a Summer series with 12-15 episodes or so set out to try to establish ECW as a worthy brand. Since this is a short term deal right now, we'll more than likely see even more big names like Kurt Angle in ECW to help that much more to draw ratings. Also, the plan for Kurt Angle right now is that each week he'll have a segment where he challenges anyone from any type of ring. Anyone from a four-sided ring, an eight-sided ring, or even the six-sided ring. They are already calling him "The Wrestling Machine" on the ECW site. Also, for what it's worth, Kevin Fertig is being brought into ECW as well as Andre "Test" Martin, who will be pushed as a major heel. I don't really have a problem with either one, even Test. Those hardcore matches that Test had back in the day are a minor guilty pleasure of mine.

Either that or the masked Kane on RAW thought there was an Inferno Match to be prepared for... EDIT: Or maybe my memory is shot. Didn't Kane where a full suit in one of those matches?
-
I'm sure this has been posted already, but in the latest PWInsider report they said that the new masked Kane is the Freakin' Decon. I did a random Yahoo search for the name and I found this old wrestling report from back in November of '05: His real name is Drew Hankinson and he's been down in Deep South: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorian_DeVille And just for the hell of it, here is a video of the Kane/Kane segment from RAW: http://youtube.com/watch?v=CU9ktupOXEI&sea...ne%20kane%20raw The guys on PWInsider are also saying that no matter what anyone else thinks about how this went down, there is one person who hated how it came off on TV...Vince McMahon.

Maybe we'll end up on a Kane on RAW and SD at the same time, one masked and one unmasked.
-
I'd be all for a gimmick where he keeps searching for his real background history, and we see him take on a new gimmick every few months because he keeps getting the wrong information.
-
They stay on the list because they are no longer active on SD. I know they are active on RAW, but still. I didn't even want to include Eddie since that's been so long, but I figured why not go back to then since the downfall started back then.
-
Let's go over Smadown really quick. Here are the guys, major players and otherwise, who aren't active as of right now, or anymore for whatever reason, even if they're just not being used: -Animal -Batista -Boogeyman -Chris Benoit -Doug Basham -Eddie Guerrero -Gymini (Since one of them is injured I believe) -Hardcore Holly -JBL -Ken Kennedy -Melina -Mercury -Nitro -Randy Orton -Steven Richards -Psicosis -Sylvan Then you have Taker who almost never works SD anyway. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm almost glad that Randy Orton is coming back. This show needs new guys in a HUGE way. I guess Ken Kennedy should be back soon, maybe tonight, so that'll be something else they can work with. Still, as of right now, just think of what they have to work with for their shows or more importantly, a PPV. We have Mysterio as champ and the only guys he really has to work with are Mark Henry, Booker T, Lashley, and Khali. The Great f'n Khali Then when you think about it Mark Henry and Khali wouldn't really make sense to feud with Mysterio right now since they both totally squashed Rey just a few weeks ago. Are we going to get a Mysterio/Booker feud? I don't think it'll be Lashley since he just won the US title and will more than likely be continuing with Finlay pretty soon to feud over that strap. It wouldn't surprise me for them to either have Mark Henry beat Mysterio, or for them to have Randy Orton beat him almost as soon as he returns, and that's two weeks away I believe. We might even be in store for a Mysterio/Chavo feud depending on where they go with that. My guess is Chavo costs him the title, to either Henry, Orton, or (my pick) Booker T. It's not even just the main event that is going through the pains right now. More than likely we'll see Nunzio and Super Crazy be shipped off to ECW pretty soon, and maybe a couple of the other lower card guys. We don't have too many to feud over the US, Cruiserweight, or tag straps. I really do think we might be getting Mysterio/Chavo for the title pretty soon. If not that, then I'd place my money on Mark Henry winning it setting up for Batista's return for him to beat Henry for the belt. Keep in mind though that we might get a Batista/Henry match with no belt on the line and have it be more built up around Batista's revenge factor.

He didn't. Foley just made the natural assumption, while Heyman never directly confirmed it. From WWE.com:
-
I wish Heyman's RAW pick had been someone other than RVD. They should have come up with a different way for RVD to be in ECW full time.
