I'm not really pro-Henry or whatever, but I don't hate him as much as I once did, if only because he's actually the character that he should've been all along. Why in the world didn't they start this 10 years ago though? I will admit that I mark out for the way that he does his finisher to Rey Mysterio though.
-
Here comes our future world champ, Mark Henry... I really think it's going to happen now, and pretty damn soon. Then we'll get Batista vs. Mark Henry.
-
Well, that isn't hard to top. Great sig btw. If JBL actually does retire (I don't buy that at all though), oh boy will I miss this guy.

Don't compare Lashley to Goldberg, Lashley isn't within distance of Goldberg and especially don't compare JBL to ©urt Henning. Oh I sure as fuck wasn't comparing Lashley to Goldberg or Goldberg to Hennig/Raven. I just mean with Lashley winning that quick, it being the US title, and all of that bullshit. The last thing I want right now, or anytime soon, is World Champion Lashley. I have no clue why I wrote Kurt Hennig instead of Curt, and on top of that I meant to type Raven.

So, is this Goldberg vs. Raven? EDIT: Holy shit what a brian fart. I wrote Kurt Hennig instead of Raven before I edited it. WTF?

Towering and Poseidon were released on May 9, 2006 and the other three were released just this week. -
Watch it be Paul Heyman, only for him to turn down Vince's offer and we get a big face to face between the two, taking the WWE vs. ECW feud to yet another level. Then after that, the next week or so, we then get someone like Dusty as the GM.

All of the people that the workers let backstage with them need to be unauthorized by personal. It sounds like OJ has been letting people in the back that he didn't tell certain people about. If he was actually doing that, then I don't blame WWE for letting him go.

From PWInsider:
-
I've said this for a while now, but it makes more sense now than ever. -Fold the big names from SD into RAW -Take some of the younger guys, and maybe someone like Benoit into ECW -Give ECW the SD slot Right now we have two "brands" in WWE as well as ECW. To me, it just makes sense to change that to WWE vs. ECW, instead of RAW vs. SD.
-
From PWInsider: -Benoit/Malenko at ONS has been called off because Vince just didn't like the idea. This was decided before Benoit was injured and needed to take two months off anyway. - You know, they might just flat out be forced to go ahead and push Ken Kennedy as soon as he returns. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see them instantly push Randy Orton when he returns instead of starting him off near the bottom as it was rumored a month or so ago.
-
Yeah, the rumor has been that we could possibly see Umaga in the title hunt on RAW and The Great Khali in the title hunt on SD...with it possible that both of them end up actually winning. I think that talk first stared around a month or so ago.
-
You assume that WWE would give him the freedom to play the kind of character he wants to play, which won't happen. What you said about Ken Kennedy could've been said for Paul Burchill when he entered WWE, but the writers decided to turn him into a pirate. Don't expect too much out of Kennedy, WWE won't give him the opportunity to build his own character. I still question how talented the guy is in the first place. Ken Kennedy is a totally different story than someone like Paul Burchill. There are some really important guys and gals behind Kennedy, and have been for a while now. He'll be a major player by the end of this year, like it or not.

Wasn't there some sort of pretty bad incident between Melina and Mickey James a while back? I forget the details of that one, if I'm thinking correctly that is.
-
One more bit from PWInsider: -
-
-The say the wording used to describe Melina/Batista is simply "too close". If we should think the worst about this, they say yes, according to many. They say that Nitro put himself and his relationship with Melina in situations where most other men never would allow.
-
You know, if this talk about moving guys like Benoit and MNM (they say it's 100% for Nitro/Melina) to ECW is true, then I say just screw SD once and for all. Move certain guys, like Booker T, JBL, Taker, etc... over to RAW and down the line put the other guys in ECW, and have the SD timeslot just become an ECW show. That makes perfect sense to me, especially as time goes by.
-
More bits: -Right now, the talk is that Rey will hold the title until around SummerSlam. JBL was penned in to win the title, then they decided to go with Mark Henry (they said that his theme is being performed live tonight at the SD taping), but now they are thinking about keeping Rey as champ for quite a while. (All of this is bullshit though, because quite honestly, I don't think anyone in WWE knows what to do with SD, and quite frankly, I don't think they give a shit.) -There are certain people that are worried about not enough heels being in the new ECW. As a result of that, there are serious talks about Chris Benoit actually being moved over to the new ECW as one of their top heels.
-
A few more bits: -Rumors are going around backstage that instead of letting Joey Styles do his thing on his own, they are going to stick Tazz with him, taking him off of SD. They would also have Tazz play more of a role as well, other than just in the booth. -As a result of that, Simon Dean would then take Tazz's place with Cole. -They say that they've heard this from at least three different sources, and that they've given Simon Dean tryouts and so far he's blown everyone away that's heard him. -This doesn't mean that we might not see Super Nova every now and then in ECW.
-
For what it's worth, here's another possible (minor) SD spoiler from PWInsider:
-
I always thought Hamerick was a great bumper.
-
ECW news from PWInsider: -They are thinking about bringing in New Jack, Justin Credible, and other former ECW guys who are locked up in that MTV deal. Word right now is that MTV will just up and release them from their contracts, just becasue they know that the guys will make more money working in the ECW group. They also mentioned that they have heard that a few of the main guys behind the MTV project have come to find out that New Jack is literally insane, so they are more than willing to let him go. They also mentioned Chris Hamerick being brought back into this new ECW. I've always been a pretty big fan of that guy, so that's great news to me.
-
Here is a slight update on MNM from a PWInsider audio report: -Johnny Nitro and Melina will be back, on RAW, and will continue to be together. This is being done to keep her away from Booker T, Sharmell, and most importantly (because of the rumors of them being together, etc...), Batista. -Mercury has a personal issue to deal with, and will be gone for about four weeks. It's said that he's going to come back with a clean slate, either going to RAW seeking revenge, or staying on SD doing his own thing.
-
Yeah, it has a number of great matches on it, and the main feature is pretty solid also.
