Those flowers should shoot bees at Edge and Lita. How would that be for a twist?

Ok, this is weird. It wasn't working a few minutes ago, but now it is. Thanks for this tip.

I agree with all of that. Your saying. I thought you were saying that we had to have Cena/HHH, Orton in the main event, and Candice/Torrie - not you speaking as WWE was thinking. Sorry about that.

I just got back from checking this one out. A few notes: -I lean more to the right. -I've never even really heard of the comic, so I obviously have never read any of it. That said, I really, really enjoyed the flick. I wasn't offended by anything, and I must say that you would have to go in wanting to hate it to get to that point. I loved the speech of V also, that was fantastic. I can't really think of too much to say right now other than I really enjoyed it, and like Inside Man, I'd be willing to check it out again on the big screen. I was a huge fan of the visuals - from the effect used when V would use his weapons and the blood (the blood reminded me of Zatoichi, 2003) to the scene of everyone with the masks. It wasn't a perfect flick, certain things seemed rushed to me and even at over two hours I felt like it was far too short. I agree with the poster who said that this will be a DVD that will have tons of extra footage, and maybe even an extended cut version of the film that fleshes certain things out even more. I'd buy that in a second, and I can't wait for it. No offense, but Mike Atkinson sounds like a twat to me. One of the worst movies he has ever seen? Come the fuck on. You seem to put far too much faith in your professors.

Judging from most of his fights, MMA has been breaking into him. Ouch... What the fuck?

Mania feels just fine for a normal PPV, or maybe even something like SummerSlam, but it just doesn't have that "WrestleMania feel" to it at all to me. I'm looking forward to both, but seriously, neither one of the main title matches have the right feel to it. The HHH/Cena match started out of nowhere without any build for it at all really. The SD match lost much of it's feel after all of that Orton bullshit. The fact Rey won the Rumble, then lost that match to Orton, and then Teddy Long just went ahead and put Rey in after all, it all just lessened the impact of what, say, Kurt/Rey could have been. Not to mention the fact that I don't think Orton is ready to hold a title again, much less be in the title match at WrestleMania. It will more than likely be entertaining, but this is another match that doesn't really serve a purpose at all. The entire point behind booking it in the first place was more than likely just to try to get Bret Hart to get involved with WM, and that didn't work at all, and I doubt it will. I doubt it's even the end of the feud, but this still isn't something that can make an entire card. This is the one match on the entire card that, to me, has that big time feel to it. I've always thought it was stupid when they put Taker in there with guys like this on WM, just to have him squash them. I guess it's fine filler, but Taker should have been involved with Kurt Angle with the title. This is a match that could have just taken place on RAW, not even any other PPV, and it wouldn't have made any difference. Yeah, and Bret, the main induction this year, wont even be at the show to just walk out more than likely. Then you also have MNM who didn't even make the show, as of right now (more than likely on Heat though). Edge/Foley depends on which version of Foley shows up. Will we see the Foley that was in there with Orton or will the Foley that produced that shit match with Carlito? I dunno, to me this is a Mania card full of the wrong people in the wrong matches, without the huge star power to really put over the right feeling. If nothing else, perhaps this WM will be looked at as a sort of transistional show years from now, and will age better than it looks to be at this moment. I've already ordered the show so it didn't turn me off of it or anything. It just doesn't feel like a WrestleMania.

A while back, a week or two, someone here posted saying how funny it would be, as well as not surprising at all, if they had the McMahons and HHH standing together in the ring on the last RAW before Wrestlemania as RAW goes off the air.

If that goes down again, let me know and I'll upload it again.

I doubt Bret would actually leave also, I find it hard to believe that he'd be that bigh of a douche. But if he does, wow, I don't see how anyone could take up for him acting like that.
-
No, it's not because he wont work an angle. I'm talking about if he seriously walked out of the ceremony just because HBK was in the building or sitting out in the crowd. I don't care what happened in the past, I don't care what kind of person HBK was then or is now. If Bret did that, it would be beyond unprofessional, not to mention one hell of a childish act. HBK has every reason to be in the crowd at the HoF ceremony, and if he ends up not going to it for the sake of Bret Hart, then I'll sit back and say then and there that HBK has ended up as more of a man than Bret Hart. Everyone involved in that shit from almost an entire decade ago needs to get over what happened, and get over themselves. I'd also think it's stupid if he didn't take part in the thing they have had at the actual WM show, but I could somewhat see him not being at that. The only reason I'd find that acceptable is if he doesn't show up at that part just to keep from giving more hope to the fans that he'll be involved in the show. Or, they could do that little thing after the HBK/Vince match, and it would prevent that line of thinking. Of course I'd call him a hypocrite if he shows up, but so what? I don't care if he shows up and becomes a hypocrite, I actually wish he would. It isn't like my calling him that would be a bad thing or whatever, since it would in fact be what he is if he shows up. I'm a huge fan of Bret's work in the business, and I'd love to see him show up, hypocrite or not.
-
If all of that is true then I must say that I think Bret is a huge bloody twat, but that's just me. I know that the guy has been through a lot, but enough is enough. This, mixed with the way he acted on his DVD, has me just about sick of him. I'm about to the point where I'd laugh if they did something against his wishes just to fuck with him. I'd like for them to say that HBK left the ceremony for Bret to be able to do his thing there. Then, in the middle of his speech or at the end of it, they have HBK walk out and extend his hand. That would be fantastic. That said, I hope he's just working us here. I'm not going to lie and say I wouldn't love to see him at WM.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/wx69xl Someone on DVDTalk posted this: I'd love to see that also.

Of course he doesn't need to be. That doesn't change the fact that I think he would have been fantastic in that role, and I hate that I'm not going to be able to see it happen. Bad for me and other fans, more than likely good for him.

From PWInsider: Now, have at it...

Here are a few of my thoughts about it that I posted on DVDTalk: -I just got back from seeing this one. It's a really fresh take on an old idea, and it's executed perfectly (the plot). I agree with the previous statement about the film not really being the one they are advertising as well, but that's not a bad thing. It's a really smart, fantastically acted flick. It's also one that I have a feeling that you wont entirely be able to take it all in in a single viewing. -One more quick thing. While the acting is indeed fantastic, I didn't really feel any "award winning" performances or anything like that. It was just very solid, all across the board. This flick is more about the story, and the great direction. -It also made me laugh out loud more than once, and I wasn't alone on that either. -I got a film noir feel while watching it. I guess it's because Denzel was in Devil In A Blue Dress, the hat he wears in the film, certain use of shadowing here and there, as well as some of the music in certain scenes. -I'd agree with a rating of B- or B+, overall. -I also didn't see the point in the "judging a book by it's cover" stuff either. Anyone who has seen the flick will know instantly what we are all more than likely talking about in that respect. On a side note, Clive Owen should have been the new James Bond, but hopefully he can move on to even greater things since that didn't happen. That guy is going to end up being "the" actor one of these days pretty soon. I could easily see Clive Owen and George Clooney being the two top actors in Hollywood.

I seem to remember people posting shit back when all of these guys were getting fired left and right about how maybe it was just a gimmick for them to eventually come back as this big stable to piss all over WWE.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060324/ap_en_tv/tv_simpsons -This Sunday, just as I expected, the live action opening will be aired before the episode that Ricky Gervais wrote and stars in. -"The Simpsons" was recently renewed for two more seasons, its 18th and 19th, so it isn't going anywhere for a while.

Here is some WWE news about the upcoming Hall of Fame ceremony to get excited about, straight from WWE.com:

I'd be ok with HBK/Vince being last if Bret Hart actually got involved. However, I'm 100% do not think that will happen...

Everyone knows how I feel about this.
