Oh boy, I'm loving the old school graphics!

Can some of you school me on strokes? *waits a few seconds to allow the obvious jokes to flow in* Did Kirby have a condition that could have directly lead to this, or was it just "one of those things"?
-
This is a total shock. Kirby was one of my favorite baseball players as well (I'm a Braves fan), but for some reason I always watching him enjoy playing, even against the Braves.

I didn't mind Jon Stewart, but something about him seemed off for much of the night. I don't fully blame him though, because I think there were times where he wanted to say something else but they cut him short. If they said he was going to host again, I wouldn't really complain about it.

No, it's eating him up pretty bad. Check out his official board: http://realwrestlecrap.proboards39.com/index.cgi?board=tenta

Looking for a video or transcript of HHH's Cena burial
Downhome replied to Thoth's topic in The WWE Folder
I thought it was funny. I'm totally anti-Cena, but even if I was a fan of the guy I'd have to laugh since it was so insane. HHH lists all of these huge guys that he has defeated, then implies that the only reason that Cena is the champ right now is because he hasn't faced him yet. He then says what most WWE fans are thinking right now, about Cena being a bad worker and his one big move is pumping up his shoes. Then on top of everything, when Cena has a chance to hit HHH with a great comeback, he instead just agrees with everything that he just said. That is some classic shit. I don't see how anyone can't see the awesomeness in all of this. -
Here is the opening to the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-A986cc1Ps And here is the Three 6 Mafia performance and acceptance speech: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um-LvLkJnJI

I have always thought that Flair will always be around. I don't think we'll ever see him leave the business on his on. The only way we'll ever have wrestling without Flair, is if he is forced out for some odd reason, and that will never happen. I fully expect him to either die in the ring, or to die as a direct result of what happens in the ring or other aspects surrounding the business. That could mean that he gets hurt really bad, or simply as he ages the time on the road takes it's toll on him to the point where his body just can't travel anymore. As for him winning the title again, while I don't think it needs to be done, I wouldn't be against it as long as it was for a very short time, as long as he won it in a place where the fans would fully be able to appreciate his win, like in Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC. Ric Flair will never retire. He may give up working in the ring down the line, but he'll never retire from the business. I don't even say that because I think he needs the money, or anything like that. I just don't think he seriously has it in him to leave wrestling.

Not to keep this off topic, but...do you have the first one also?

Imagine the buildup promos!

I enjoyed some of them, but near the end it just seemed like a huge time waster. I loved the one about film noir though, since those are some of my favorite movies ever, and my favorite "feel" in a film. I almost bought Controversial Classics Vol. 2 today (I already have the first one). It'll be the next box set that I pick up for sure. If you go to DVDTalk, then you saw me post the same thing there. Flags of Our Fathers vs. The Departed Clint Eastwood vs. Martin Scorsese

Hustle & Flow was just a flat out good, solid film, with fantastic performances from just about everyone involved. I'm not a big fan of most of those urban films, with the horrible generic plots, but that isn't what Hustle & Flow is at all.

That was a pretty good show tonight. My only complaint is all of the pointless montages. Next years show should be really, really interesting.

So have you guys found his MySpace account yet?

It's always worth it when Maria is involved.

Personally, I'd sign up to various message boards just to ask this same question.

Are you nuts? That will be one of the things that I make sure that I watch every second of.

He usually says something interesting in his blog on WWE.com, so why not a OAO thread for it. His latest thread is talking about cheap heat, the stuff about Eddie that we've been seeing on Smackdown: One can not help but wonder if all of this ties in together, just to get more publicity. Would WWE really allow that to be posted if they didn't want the controversy out in the open? That makes the entire thing that much more disgusting, if it's true.

I believe that he also had those crutches when he showed up at the WCW CotC. Have you guys been keeping up with Andre: Heart of the Giant? It sounded like it could have been something special, but it looks like it's going to end up being horrible: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0475218/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWYOUx9X8u4 http://www.youtube.com/?v=tZ7p5IFn_mM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXkwCStksGI

Explain this please: -Kurt Angle does one of the greatest moonsaults ever. -However, he almost never hits it.

It's a damn shame that Taker will more than likely be involved with Mark Henry at WM, and then after WM with . Just watch this match, listen to the crowd. It couldn't be any more obvious what SD's main event should have been this year.
