Anyone else remeber this issue of RAW magazine? I also remember one where it focused on a secret relationship between her and Brian Pillman.
-
Not to mention the way that it was done. Wasn't Vince tossing him into a trash truck the last thing we ever saw of him? I fully believe that what we saw that night was the entire reason that he was signed to start with. It's the same reason they don't do anything hardly with ECW, and why in my opinion they purposely allowed the Invasion angle to fail. Vince doesn't want ECW or WCW to actually be a success since he didn't create them, and they sure as hell wanted Bishoff to look like a total moron in the end.

And the Smackdown ME for Mania is...

Here is what I said in another thread: I can see it now - the Rey/Angle/Orton match starts off with Rey and Angle double teaming Orton as soon as the bell rings and continues to do so for about five or ten minutes, climaxing with them doing a huge move through the announcers table or some sort of spot where Rey does a springboard leg drop to the back of Orton's neck while Angle has Orton in the ankle lock. All of that leads to some sort of injury angle, leaving Orton either at ringside for the next good while, or with him being stretchered out to the backstage area. This would make sense, since Rey and Angle hate Orton for all that he has done over the past few weeks, so why wouldn't they try to do something like that? With Orton out of the picture, Rey and Angle look at one another, shake hands, and start going at it like we know that they can do, putting on a fantastic match. Let's say they continue at it, just those two, for about twenty minutes or so. Sooner or later, after an accidental ref bump, they lay each other out. At this point, Orton either jumps up off of the ringside mat or runs back down to the ring from the backstage area, does the RKO to Angle and tosses him out of the ring, then, with Rey still woozy, beats up on him for a minute or two, and then does the RKO to him with Angle out on the outside, the ref is up by this point, and he covers Rey for the 1-2-3, winning the title. Just try and tell me you can't see them pulling something like that, I dare ya. -
They said that they had a few people inform them that the plans, as of earlier today, are to stick Rey in the match (I suppose Long will say he deserves it, since Orton used the ropes to pin him) making it a 3-way like so many people have thought all along. They said that it might happen as early as tonight's SD taping. I think that WWE.com thing about Byte This is totaly bullshit. I don't have a doubt in my mind that everything happened just because of what happened on the show. Here is the world's worst wrestling .GIF ever: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5lcvaD-IgG8

They didn't flat out say Bret Hart would be at SS either, but many fans thought it was going to happen. It's the same deal here, only this time they keep saying over and over again that he's going to be in the same city, being inducted into the Hall of Fame. You know good and well that the second HBK/Vince starts, the fans will be chanting for, and expecting, Bret Hart. How sad is it that the only real reason that Wrestlemania is interesting this year, is because of how horrible it could be? Heck, the only things I'm looking forward to as of right now is how the fans will react towards certain things: -Cena being booed out of the building, and the fans cheering HHH for kicking his ass. -The reaction towards Orton with the fans just not giving a shit, even more so now that I hear that it's all but confirmed that Rey will be in the match also. -How the fans will react towards the HBK/Vince match or angle, when Bret Hart doesn't actually come out to get involved at all.
-
HHH will soon beat up Maria (as well as being a wink to the fans who know about him putting down CM Punk), hire Daivari as his manager, state that he does not like the USA or it's troops, put down black people, and will say that he wants to defeat Jesus Christ. Turning Cena heel would not reek of desperate booking anymore than everything else that they've done to try and keep him a face. I don't want to see the double turn anymore because I want to see the Cena experiment explode on the biggest stage of the year. It would be worth of Wrestlemania to me just to see him get booed out of the building unlike ever before, while the fans go crazy for the stuff that HHH does to him.
-
It would be a great moment, the fans there would go insane over it, but it really doesn't make sense at all, considering he'd be winning a WWE title at an "ECW PPV". OMG, RVD just beat HHH for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, here at ECW ONS!!!

I just remembered a topic I did last year, where I talked about a house show I went to, and Taker/Angle was the main event in what was one of the best matches I've ever seen live, if not the best. Looking over their history together, I'm actually shocked to see that they've never had a one-on-one match with some sort of gimmick involved. Am I wrong about this?
-
What the hell kind of school let's you go home for lunch when you are in the 1st grade?
-
I just want to chime in and say that I actually do want to see HHH beat Cena at WM. If it was just about any other guy defending against HHH I wouldn't be pulling for HHH, but I just can't back Cena at all right now.
-
I find it funny that it's been obvious what they were going to do for Wrestlemania for months, around a half year or more, but they are just now starting the build for it.
-
Am I the only one here who wouldn't be opposed to an episode of The Office where they have some sort of international paper convention in New York and five of the guys and gals from Dunder Mifflin run into their counterparts from Wernam-Hogg? They wouldn't even have to really say anything. Just something as simple of them passing, all saying hi to one another, like in Shaun of the Dead would be great to me.
-
Here's another new one that I've put together: Finlay - Fightin' Round The World!
-
You know, RAW would make a hell of a lot more sense if we had RVD/Edge (for the title), HHH/TBS (to continue that storyline), and Cena/??? (Hogan maybe).
-
Well, it's now official. Just think - a year ago at this time, not a single one of us would expect to see this at this time.
-
Haha, it's coming back just like most of us thought. Now, is it just me, or is Carlito getting better and better, both in the ring and on the mic, every time out here lately?
-
Hell yeah, the Carito replay.
-
I did also, but then I noticed that whoever it was could actually move.

*total and complete mark out moment*

This match is making me not hate the Spirt Squad...
