Cool, I wish I had Showtime just so I could watch this again. I have yet to buy the DVD. It's not the best film ever, but it is very very good. Much better than most films of this type from the USA. There is one scene in the film specificly, that I'd rank up there as one of the most chilling moments ever. It's nothing horribly graphic, it's not even that BOO scary. It's just...chilling.

Wait. You mean black folks DON'T like really shitty movies? I've been led to believe otherwise by Hollywood.

Asking why Freddy comes to life in that movie is like asking any number of questions about horror movies. It just happens. That said, I love New Nightmare, one of my favorites.

People want bad films to do badly, because if a film doesn't do that great then the chances of another one like it being given the greenlight go down a lot.

I didn't even fully realize it when I went to watch this in the theater the other week, but it seems that when this film first hit the net...1-2 years ago, I downloaded it and watched the movie all the way up to the end of the first "story". I don't remember why I stopped there back then though. Maybe I wasn't as open to films like this then, which is basicly true, or maybe something happened and it was deleted from my computer or something. Either way, as I sat in the theater watching this, it just hit me that I had seen that part already. I can't wait to check this film out on DVD. As for you Razamatazathoth, well said!

When Stevie and Jericho were standing face to face, Stevie actually looked like a star. I've always seen something in the guy. He should be in a much higher posistion in WWE.

Why would someone on a last place team get an MVP award? I'll never understand that as long as I live.

I've found that this film is one of the best examples of "you'll either love it to death or totally hate it" ever.

Yet another example of why foreign films remade in the US is a horrible idea most of the time. I dread what they are going to do with the remake of My Sassy Girl.

I went ahead and pre-ordered Fable and this new GTA game, both are totally paid in full, at Blockbuster. All I did was trade in a few of my games (mainly the $5 games I bought at Circuit City), and they gave me about $10 for each of those. The shocking thing though was that they gave me $25, yes TWENTY-FIVE bucks trade in for that Space Channel 5 game I had. You can go buy it brand new for $15, I couldn't believe it.

I remember in WCW DDP and, I believe, Buff Bagwell were having a falls count anywhere match. They went up into the stands and at one point they saw this thing that looked like a table or something. It was a piece of carpet or cloth so they got on it. When both of them got on it, it was really just a piece of cloth, or whatever, covering up a hole. It was very narrow, so it seemed like it took them forever to finally climb out of it, they could't move at all. I laugh everytime Kurt Angle pulls this one.

No I didn't! I didn't know about that extra part untill I got home, and then after I started this thread. It's one of the many reasons that I might go back to watch the movie again.
