http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com Coupon Code: SUMMERSALE You can get Chappelle Show for $11.91, Simpsons Season Four for $23.91, and tons of other (what I'd call at least) great deals. I would have put this in the DVD deals thread, but I figured this one is too good to just simply post in the bottom of that thread, that some don't even read about. Sincerely, ...Downhome...

Getting rid of 'natural-born' President rule??
Downhome replied to bobobrazil1984's topic in Current Events
Since it weeds out such people now, why wouldn't it do the same if the rule was partially lifted? -

Yep, it's over, been over for a while now. I ended up getting a few great deals though, so I'm happy. They more than likely wont have another sale like this untill Christmas, as they did this past year. -
Getting rid of 'natural-born' President rule??
Downhome replied to bobobrazil1984's topic in Current Events
Thank God you have enough of sense to understand what I meant. I just don't see any reason why so many people should instantly be kept from running, because of something so much beyond their control. What are the rules on this for other various countries? Just think about what might have been had various presidents throughout history had been born in another country, for whatever reason. As the rule stands, isn't it still possible that someone with greater ties to another nation could become president of the USA? Someone could have been born here at a very early age, moved to another country, and over their life could have only lived here a total of 14 years or so. -

So what your saying is your on the "Third" side of the issue Oh wait....you must be John Kerry I really just don't see any reason to limit this to those who were born on American soil. I'm sure there have been many in the past, and will be in the future, who could have been or could make a better leader than many that we have had over the years. I'm not saying that it should be allowed to have someone that was born in say, Iraq, to come over here and run for office after being in the US after only a few years. But for those that just happened to be born somewhere else, but came to America at some point early in their life, I just don't see too much wrong with that. -

I've always thought that it should be partially lifted. -
What is the fun in playing it on easy with the one-buttone swinging?
-
I just posted the updated list of the games, in my original topic. I also sold Disgaea - Hour of Darkness to someone for $35, since I found out what kind of game it actually was.

I will agree that with Edwards with Kerry, it looks a lot bette than it did a few days ago. Also with Edwards being from where I live and was born and raised, it feels a bit odd that I'll be voting against him. I honestly wouldn't be totally surprised if Kerry/Edwards went all the way right now.
-
I don't remember who I was talking to on here about it, but I swore over and over again that it would be Edwards, but someone here kept saying that there wouldn't be a chance in hell because of this reason or not. I've always thought it was quite obvious. Yeah, Edwards SAID he wouldn't do this, blah blah blah, but seriously people, those of you who believe that BS should have known better.
-
I don't know. How could they try to kill him in the first place? How could the guy who did it to him end up being a face? How could they put shit like Katie Vick on TV? Just don't ask questions, we can not answer any of this.
-
He'll come back, as a heel, to get revenge.
-
I said it would be Edwards when all of this started all of those months ago, and I stand behind that.
-
I still can't believe that I was lucky enough to get just about all of them that I wanted.
-
I can't believe that you were right about it making $150 over the five days. Wow.

It is said that most, if not all, of the stores will be getting more shipments in for these games, so if you don't see anything if you go today or tomorrow, or whenever...then just check back later or ask your local store if/when they'll be restocked. Also, it's also being said that on July 11th, even more games will become a part of this deal.
-
I'm not really sure. I suppose the newer the title, the more that you'd get in trade for it.
-
It's nationwide.

No. I first split Showdown: Legends of Wrestling with my brother, $20 each. I ended up not really enjoying that at all so I traded it in for $35 credit, and got Spider-Man 2 for the $39.99 deal. I turned around and did the same thing with Spider-Man 2 for Riddick. I don't like to rent games anymore. I don't like to have the time limit, I don't like being forced to take it back if I end up really liking it, etc...

I bought the game Tuesday night, and earlier today I "beat" the game, in that I completed the story missions. I ended up not being that big of a fan of the side missions, and the swinging around wore thin with me since there isn't really too much to do in the huge city even though it is huge, except just swing and do those side missions. It took me 6-7 hours to beat the story missions, which is just way too short for such a game as this. The story wasn't even that well put together in the game. To me it ended up just being random scenes put together without too much tying it all up. I took the game back to the Blockbuster Game Rush near here, and traded it in ($35 credit) and added $5 to that, and picked up the new Riddick game. When you trade in a game, you get any new game for $39.99, which is why it ended up only costing me $5. I really like the new Game Rush deals, I've bought and traded my last five games there, it's fantastic. Riddick is somewhat short also, about ten or so hours long, but I'll run through it this week and just trade it in for another new game, so I'm cool with this. Back to Spider-Man though, since I've completed the main part of the game, I'd give it a final score of 7.5-8.0, or something in that range. At first it is just breath-taking, but the more you play it the more you find various faults in the game. It's still great though and worth the purchase.

I want Saddam and Baghdad Bob (I forget his name) to go on the road as a comedic duo.

I am SHOCKED! Sincerely, ...Downhome...

As said before, it sounds like this game. It's just called Kung Fu, I had it on the NES, and I still love it to this day. There was an arcade game by the same people, called Kung Fu Masters, so it could be that, as I don't know if the NES Kung Fu was ever in the arcades. EDIT: Kung Fu was also an arcade game, so it could be that one also.

You are in a huge city like in GTA, and you can either just swing/walk/run anywhere you want at anytime, or you can follow your map to these different little markers and do various missions. Either little side missions where you help people, the main story missions, or other little things like races (beat the clock to get to a certain marker), and things like this. Like I said though, you will tire of the side missions before too long, but they are still cool for a while. If you just keep away from them for a while, I'd be willing to bet that they'll be fun once you go back to them over time though. Just don't do them over and over and over again. Yes you can go anywhere. As far as I can tell, you have the entire Manhattan to work with here, and there are no load times from going to one area to the next. You have seen it in the ad where it shows Spider-Man on the SoL, and yes you can do it. I was doing it just a while ago myself. It's also very cool how you get to the SoL. You must play around with it for a few minutes to get the entire flow of the gameplay, but after those few minutes everything will be very easy for you. You have tons of moves and different things you can buy so that you can do more and more different things. Just trust me, it's worth owning this game.
