  3. If anyone has the main event, please IM me and let's set up some way for you to send it to me on AIM, or something. I'd really like to see it again.

    Down With Love: For Sale.

I assume you are talking about Down With Love and not Mars Attacks. I love the movie, it just has so much charm for me. I love the soundtrack, the feel of the movie, the way the talk and act, and just all of the quirky things that are in the movie. It's just very entertaining, not to mention that Rene is just hot as hell, as always.

Here are a few examples from Mars Attacks.

I do to, that's why I like to SEE everything. You really should learn about what you are complaining about before you...complain about it. Of course I don't avoid WWE DVDs, or TV shows, or old films and the such. Full screen is the OAR (original aspect ratio) for things like that. Go to the following page. http://www.widescreen.org/index.shtml

    Down With Love: For Sale.

I can't trade it back in, and I can't get a refund either. I bought it at a local video store, and those over it are a bunch of twats. I've had runins with them before, I can't stand them. If no one takes me up on this, here or elsewhere, I might just do the WalMart/KMart switch.

    1) If you watch a full screen DVD on a widescreen TV it is fucked up. You'll have black bars on the left and right, I believe, where the image would be if you had a widescreen format. 2) Even on a normal TV, with full screen you are losing quite a bit of the picture. This obviously doesn't apply to films that have the OAR as FS. I plan on buying a WS TV in the next year or so, so when I do that I want my DVDs to all look fine on them. It's not being anal, it's just me wanting what would work best on the equipment I will be using. Not to mention I prefer viewing a film, you know, in it's OAR.
  9. The loss last night, in my eyes, was just to push Booker T harder towards the voodo gimmick. He wasn't into it enough last night to get the job done, he didn't understand all of that. I bet starting on SD we'll see him talking to that woman again which will quickly transform his character. He couldn't get it done last night with his little knowledge of voodo, so now he's going to work harder and harder at learning about it. That's what I gathered from it.
  10. The Fox and the Hound I'll never forget Tod and Copper! I had a record/book of this when I was young also and I would listen to it all the time. This Return to Oz, and E.T. are three early ones for me.

I find it amusing that the spoiler tags for "rumors" like this can still be a spoiler itself. I mean, from the above we can already count out just about everyone in the entire BR just because it's obvious that you are talking about guys that go by a single name, with only four characters. I hope the winner is either Jericho, Christian, or Orton. I'll be angered if anyone else wins the match.

    WMD found/used in Iraq.

FoxNews is now reporting that mustard gas was found in shells in Iraq two weeks ago, from a believed stockpile of around 500.

Eh, I always enjoyed Konnan in WCW. Has he changed at all since then?

Is it ok if I just go "My God" or "*sigh*"?

Sorry about that. I've added the source for the first one, and another quote from another source as well.
  17. I didn't say average was a good or great things. Just that it was just like any other PPV that I'd see, it was a-v-e-r-a-g-e as a whole with a great main event. My saying "perfectly average" is just a figure of speech saying that it was just as average as one could expect. Why in the world do you make things so hard for you to understand?
  18. What is so stupid about saying that I thought the show was average and that I didn't flat out hate anything on it? I thought some stuff was way below average, most was average, and the main event was great. That to me ends up being an average PPV.

    Great American Bash

After that match they had tonight, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see that happen. I thought of that the moment the match ended with a DQ tonight.
  20. He is talking about the PPV as a whole if that clears things up. Main: Good PPV as a whole: average Oh my God, someone actually can understand things.
  21. What's to explain? I didn't really flat out hate anything, and after adding everything up it just ended up being an average PPV to me.
  22. It took off from where SD left off. Eddie was so enraged with Bradshaw that he just couldn't contain his hate for him. He wanted his hands on him, and he finally got him. Even though Bradshaw was taking it to Eddie, and even though Eddie was bleeding like a madman, he didn't allow that to get in the way of what he wanted...to just destroy Bradshaw. Eventhough "any other man would have just laid down", Eddie never did. It eventually boiled over untill Eddie couldn't take it any longer, and just got DQed. It was about more than just the title, blah blah blah. The pacing of the match just spot on. From the first time Eddie got his hands on Bradshaw to the ending post match sequence where he just wouldn't stop kicking Bradshaw's ass. Just watch it and you'll see what I mean.
  23. I hated Torrie/Dawn and Jackie/Chavo, but at least the Guerreros were entertaining. It was pretty much a boring or "eh" show aside from the last minute of Cena/Dupree, Taker's entrance, and the main event. Oh, and the finish to the opening match was fun, too. You see, I've already blocked Torrie/Dawn out of my mind. Well, with the exception of Dawn's ass. I found the CW match entertaining. I don't think it should have been on a PPV, but I did find it entertaining. Chavo/Chavo should just be pushed more and more. The fans love both of them here lately, especially Sr. It wont be long before they will be forced to turn face.
  24. Not hardly. I'm simply not allowing blind hate to get in the way of what was a great brawl main event that told a hell of a story.
  25. After adding everything up, I'd say it was perfectly average. I didn't really hate anything, which is always a good thing.
