Kurt Angle & Dawn Marie Interview Highlights
Downhome replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
I with Dawn would get a larger role. In my opinion, when she was in ECW at least, she's one of the most charismatic women in the history of wrestling. -
http://homevideo.universalstudios.com/boxs...?boxSetId=34588 http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=6492 Check out both of those links. It's a DVD gift set of the old Universial Frankenstein, Dracula, and Wolfman movies. In total, there are 14 classic films included in the set. All of special features from the older, and now OOP, Classic Monster Collection DVDs are included in this set, and then some. The best part, is that you'll be able to get it for as little as $55 (I believe that's the price at Amazon right now). You'll also be able to buy the different sets individually (the Dracula set, Wolfman set, Frankenstein set), but why would you? I must have them ALL! It comes out the same day that WrestleMania XX, 4/27 if I'm not mistaken. Am I the only one here hyped up for this great set? Sincerely, ...Downhome...

What exactly is the purpose of the pinned thread if we have this, and this thread is still open?
-
I don't care who it is from WCW that would come to WWE, take your pick of almost any of them, and I'd like it for at least the first show they were on. I miss WCW.
-
Who are all of you people anyway? Change scares and frightens me.
-
I agree 100%, but whatever. I guess there is a different time and place for bitching about details like that concerning this type of thread. What is big news to one guy, might be meaningless to another. Anyone who actually thought RVD wasn't going to actually be signed again is just dense, and I mean that. I didn't think even for a second that he would leave WWE, or that WWE wouldn't have him.
-
EDIT: Nevermind, I misread the original post. I'm all for this idea, I brought it up months ago. Allow the major news to still have it's own thread but keep the minor pointless stuff in it's own thread, sounds good to me.

I thought this topic said "Benoit WMXX Plague on Shopzone, only 250 available", and it had me very confused.
-
Holy crap, go Booker T!
-
Woohoo! I could never get tired of this.
-
I freaking hate that. "Are you concerned that these signs MIGHT be coming from the Undertaker!?" Ugh.
-
The Cruiserweight Championship still exists?
-
Tada.
-
Get ready for Cena to run out, knock Dupre around a bit, then toss a bag of nuts at him.
-
Angle keeps calling him Luther and I think he is Horshu. So....who is Horshu....should I know him? He used to wrestle on WCW Saturday Night, etc... and has been in various other indie feds since then, UPW, etc...
-
Holy crap, I can't believe that I didn't pick up on that. I actually like Horshu.
-
I'm begining to think that Torrrie Wilson is one of the greatest actresses ever. No one could be THAT bad at acting, so she must just be acting that she actually is that bad.
-
This has gone on for about twenty minutes too long. Someone abort this right now, please. Who is Angle's bodyguard?
-
If TBS ever chokeslams me off of a ledge, I hope to God that I take it just as good as Kurt seems to have.
-
Ok, which one of us farted?
-
Calm down everyone, we can't have all of you posting at once!
-
As of right now, Christian is not in any way world title contender material. But, if they were to tweak his character just a bit, I still feel that he could just explode and become a player. I've felt that way about the guy for years. Hell, I'd have more faith in him being in a ME slot than Edge.

The Monster Legacy DVD Gift Set: Anyone else...
Downhome replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
Virtually every store in my area that sells DVDS had loads of them in stock. I didn't think about buying it that week, because one I was low on cash at the time, and I didn't know about the recall. By the time I found out about the recall, almost a week after the release, every store in a 60 mile radius of where I live sold out of them. -
I have the set, and I love it. Most of the matches aren't that great, but that isn't what this set is all about. This set is about the history of wrestling, nostalgia, etc... Meltzer and Cornette are great with the commentary. This DVD set is one great big learning experiance.

If your guess about the ending is right I'll think about walking up to the projection room and then taking a great big ol Downhome Dump all over the film.
