OH MY GOD, Tajiri is god!!!
-
Holy crap, Tajiri didn't just walk away.
-
Ummm, I liked Tajiri speaking, and the crowd seemed to respond to him also.

I love Coach more and more every single week. I really hope he becomes a full time manager with a stable of wrestlers.
-
Well that was fucking disgusting.

A PUPPY FEST~!

Indeed. And let's not forget that not only is Benoit the World Champion, but Eddie f'n Guerrero is the WWE Heavyweight champion. Add in that they are the champion at the same time, have defended the title and looked damn good doing so, I think this is just an amazing year so far. As of right now both of them look like they'll hold on to their respective title for even longer. I mean, From January to this very moment, good things have been taking place, very good things that most of us could only dream about actually taking place before this year.

It wasn't that I really liked it in the same way that I liked the other ones. I just found it very interesting, especially for a simple sitcom. A pretty gutsy move for something like that. The ending where Darlene and Becky were with the other's guy was pretty messed up too. Cheers is more than likely my favorite of them all.
-
And yet, some people still can't enjoy anything.

I was ok with the gang from Seinfeld going to jail. I just didn't think the last episode was all that great. Some of my favorites are All in the Family, Roseanne, Cheers, and Family Ties.

If I walked into a room and some kid had removed my DVD from the DVD player, and had it sitting face down I'd freak out. Not over it just simply sitting there, but instead because I wouldn't know how rough he was with it, or what. Nothing wrong with gently sitting a DVD face down on a solid surface, but there is something wrong if they placed it down rough like. Seeing how I wouldn't know how they acted with it, I'd freak out over seeing it like that. I've been guilty of placing a DVD face down on a counter top or something while changing discs, etc...

where did you find it and how much did you pay for it?? I've looked on ebay, but I really dont want to bid upwards of $60 I made a deal with a guy on the DVDTalk message boards. I traded him Leon: The Professional (International Uncut Version) and $22 in return for the sealed Ed Wood. It hurt me trading Leon away, it hurt bad, but I'll pick that one up somewhere for cheap some time. Check around on a few of the DVD message boards, DVDTalk, HTF, for even some of the boards that are centered and/or based in the UK. I've seen some people cutting really good deals on copies of this DVD, or selling it for a pretty low price (the lowest that I've seen so far is about $35/new).

Ummm, just take care of them. I keep all of my DVDs on my little shelf (it's overflowing though, I need a new setup now that I have 200+) and I never leave a disc sitting out. When I finish with one, I put it in it's case. I would like to spread the good news of Goo Gone though. It's the greatest product that I've come across that does away with any and all stickyness and stickers and labels.
-
They should just give them away or something. I don't see any reason for them to just toss them out with the garbage.

If you want DVDs from that region, the best thing to do is to just use an online retailer that is known for dealing only with the real things. I was reading an article the other day and it mentioned the percentage of DVDs in Asia that are actually boots, and the number was insanely high. I wish I could remember the exact number and details of that article. Amen, especially ex-rentals from Blockbuster. If you don't mind getting DVDs with stickers on them, getting no insert, or not getting the original box (which are pitched in favor of Blockbuster's own cases), then I guess they're okay. But personally, all of those things bug the hell out of me. This is why I no longer buy used DVDs at BB. I'm ok with stickers being on the discs and case, as Goo Gone takes care of that in no time. I just can't stand not having the original case and inserts. I hate seeing the guys at BB taking trashbags and trashbags of orignal cases/inserts and tossing them in the dump out behind the store. I'm tempted to ask them to just let me have all of them.

Anyone who is foolish enough to think that these are actual released DVDs, deserve to get burned. Seriously. The site even says that special features are not included on the DVDs "to conserve disc space". I do love this site though. No, not because I'd ever buy any of these things, but instead because their forum is great. Just go check it out, it's some of the best stuff on a message board. So many people pissed, it's just great. They even have threads in the forum on how to sell bootlegs without getting caught, it's just funny. People threaten them after buying these shit things and realizing that they are boots (like I said, the deserved to get burned for being stupid enough to buy them), saying they'll call the BBB and all sorts of stuff. That isn't even possible to do to someone in Asia is it?
-
Amen to that.

I missed tonights episode, but I'm downloading it right now. I still don't care what anyone says. Once these later seasons of The Simpsons come out on DVD, I'll be buying them also just like I have the first four seasons. Of course, it'll be quite a while untill we see that.

The Monster Legacy DVD Gift Set: Anyone else...
Downhome replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
Seeing how Amazon has officially charged me for this set, $50.39 (Share the Love) and my order has been changed to "Shipping Soon", here is a bump for this thread. -
I also just officially ordered The Monster Legacy Collection Gift Set from Amazon.com for a total of only $50.39 (Share the Love). I don't think you'll be able to find it anywhere for cheaper than that.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World - Collector's Edition --- $19.99 I went to the Kroger site and printed off both the entire page where the ad for M&C 2-disc is located (they have the 2-disc listed as $19.99, I'm sure it's an error), and also printed off the closeup of the M&C ad. I took both print-outs to the local WalMart here in Seneca, SC and they let me buy it for $19.99. They matched the price in the ad, which I got from the NC online ad, without any questions asked. I was at the register for all of thirty seconds. Woohoo!

Ugh. They should put the PPVs on DVD EXACTLY as they happened live (except for stuff like power failures, etc...).
-
Or it could be correct, and it's just a case of them making the match "interesting".
