In the public indictment for the doctor, for the prescription painkillers, the initials "MJ" and "OG" are used for clients. OG could be Rey Mysterio, since his real name is Oscar Gutierrez. Wasn't he one of the guys named earlier this year? I found this from the USA today in March '04: From PWTorch:

I just noticed that I heard about RAW being set up to look like a funeral was from the WON notes:

The following was posted on WO earlier today: Throughout this week, I've went on YouTube a few times to watch various Benoit promos and matches, and I can't help be feel a little uneasy while watching all of it. While watching his matches, I can still say to myself that it's fantastic work, but I can't block out the fact that, you know, he killed his wife and child and then himself. Everything I he goes for the Crossface I feel disgusted. Then with his promos, I can't help but be freaked out by most of them. While what he's saying doesn't relate to what he did this past weekend, it's still freaky. Hearing him in promos say that his hands are lethal weapons, saying that he doesn't have a stable mind and he's going to hurt someone bad, and so on. I know that there's nothing there, but you can't help but think about everything. And in case you haven't had your fill just yet, the LAW is about to come on:

The three hour RAW was planned to be totally based around the memorial for Vince. I've heard somewhere, either from Meltzer, the guys at PWInsider, or something along those lines, that Vince told everyone in the company to bring a black suit just as you would wear to a funeral. Before the news of Benoit broke, they had the stage set up with flowers, a casket, and other such bullshit.

They also mentioned that, like MrRant said, Linda was going to be "arrested" on that RAW, but it was going to end up being a false arrest, and then be revealed that Vince did indeed fake it himself. I'm shocked that anyone ever even questioned who was behind it. I thought it was quite obvious that it would end up being that Vince faked the entire thing himself.

Has there been any word on if they're thinking about removing Chris Benoit from the WON HOF?

Here is the entire bit from WO: Now if you really want to talk about using this Benoit story to get cheap heel heat, look no further than the two shitbags Crowza and Woody Numbers from ASW in Virginia. It was reported that at a show on Friday night they cut a promo on someone, using the Benoit story for heel heat, in a very tasteless way.

They should take Eugene off of SD, have him show up on ECW using his real name and with a new gimmick. I would say have him do the promo where he says that WWE forced him to do that to get on TV, but I don't think they'd have him say anything like that right now. Anyway, with Benoit gone it leaves ECW with quite the hole and a repackaged Eugene could really help that brand out. Once upon a time people called Nick Dinsmore the "Chris Benoit of OVW", because of his work, skill.

Alex Marvez just said that the word on the street has been that if you've ever needed/wanted something, then Benoit's doctor was the guy you went to.

That Geraldo at Large show just started, and he starts the show referring to the Benoit story as "the double murder steroid suicide". Once again, Debra will be on, as well as something from the WO, not sure which since I've heard two different things. I wonder how much he can get wrong in an entire hour, since he got so much wrong in just a few minutes the other day.

I think that people can collect on suicide, but only if it's been a certain number of years since they took the policy out, like two years or so.

Those new details are so fucked up I don't even know where to begin to comment on them.

Yep, you heard me. I went to see it earlier this afternoon, and I loved it. It's easily the best film based on a work of Stephen King since The Green Mile, and one of my favorite movies of that sort ever. It's also the best John Cusack film and performance since Being John Malkovich and High Fidelity. To take it a step further, it's also one of the best horror flicks I've seen in years. Every now and then we'll get a really good one, but a horror film like this is pretty rare these days. The film does not rely only on cheap GOTCHA scares and tones of gore. No, this one dishes out the feeling of impending doom on the viewer, using plenty of creepy atmosphere and very freaky scenes. It's a total psychological type of horror flick that plays with your mind the whole way through, and it's a great watch. The dolts like Eli Roth could learn a lot by giving this one a watch. I hope we get more horror films like this pretty soon, instead of the already tired "torture-porn" horror trend.

I just heard that at an ASW show in West Virginia tonight, two workers, Crowza and Woody Numbers, actually used the Benoit story to get cheap heel heat. I'm not going to repeat what they said unless I just need to, but let's just say that this sort of thing makes me sick to my stomach. If I happened to be a promoter, I would refuse to book such morons, and I'd hope that other promoters would feel the same way.

They need to just go all out and have Austin vs. Debra on H&C.

The TSM forum isn't a national "professional" news program reporting on the story either.

The only thing I didn't like is that after she was finished talking about Sherri she went "Another...wrestling...death...", and the guy she was talking to about it just started laughing before it cut away from him. I dunno, just got to me, almost as if the two of them were mocking the entire thing.
